Works with Peavey Vypyr and Sanpera I controller
I've had my beloved Vypyr since 2010 and was worried I would need to replace it as it was no longer connecting to the Sanpera I. Thankfully, this cable works perfectly for these devices and is long enough to make them playable.

Works great for my Peavey Vypyr Sanpera!
I'm a big Peavey Vypyr guru, had 2 of them for about a decade each now and finally got a second Sanpera 2 after sharing a single Sanpera 2 between both amps all this time. Anyhow the price was right because no cable was included haha 8-pin MIDI cables are harder to find, this was the first & only one I saw so click click ship lol Showed up a few days later and has been working good ever since! I got this in mid December 2025 so if any problems arise I'll update this review but I'm sure we'll be fine. I think I ordered the 15' cable, my stock one is only about 14" longer. The stock one is thicker though so might be the better one to gig with as it will be more rugged AND less susceptible to causing noise - even the stock cable will inject noise into instrument cables if you twist them together enough. As of today that's my only concern but I don't gig with it yet so I'm in the clear regardless

Worked for connection to Roland Arrsnger
I modified this din 8 cable to use as the connection for my home brew Roland Fc-7 pedal board for my Roland arranger (BK9) . I cut the cable mid-length and hard-wired one section to the switches of my pedal. The male din plug connects directly to the socket on the keyboard. I have the second section od the cable as a backup. The din connector is good quality, as is the flexible cable.

bought this for a hard-to-find floor controller cable and it fit and works good. just long enough and it was cheap.
