Yamaha YHT-5960U Home Theater System with 8K HDMI and MusicCast

The Yamaha receiver and speakers completely transformed our theater room! The sound quality is beyond my expectations—rich, powerful, and perfectly balanced. Every movie feels immersive, with crystal-clear dialogue and deep, resonant bass. It’s like having a professional theater at home. Absolutely worth every penny!

The amplifier is very good for this price range and the subwoofer works very well for it's size. The speakers are acceptable but not great. They work well for the rear surround and center channel but you may eventually want to upgrade the front speakers to an entry-level set of bookshelf or floor speakers. If you do you'll probably be very happy, I am =)

This is a nice system for the price. It comes with everything you need to get started in theater systems without blowing the bank and still provides awesome sound. It comes with 2 front and 2 rear speakers and a small subwoofer. The subwoofer in the system is the NS-SW050 which is an 8" 50w sub. that is better than if you had no sub, BUT if you purchase a larger powered sub later on it will make a MUCH BIGGER difference! I connected my system not as a surround but as just a music streaming stereo player and have it powering a pair of Klipsch Reference R-620F's. After pulling out my hair with the MusicCast app. I finally got it to connect with my Amazon music and WOW, what a beautiful full sound! I do not understand WHY it is so difficult for all these companies that put out their own apps. for their streaming equipment to offer a simple way to search for and connect to most if not all the streaming devices available today. The first company that invests in the tech and hardware to do that will have me sold for life. BE prepared to jump through hoops with MULTIPLE apps. to finally get some music streaming out of your system BUT it is no different than with ALL the major manufacturers that offer streaming devices. Overall a good system to start with and it offers some nice sound which if later you start adding some good speakers and nicer sub it will make you happy!

Had for over a year had no issues at all, has good sound and bass. Remote easy to use, only issue I had was trying use the app

Great starter system. Fairly easy to set up, but the sound quality is loads better than the sound bar set up I had before. For the price I don't think there's anything that compares. Granted, it's not the same as getting a Sonos or Klipsch setup, but it's also thousands less than either of those will run you. Definitely worth considering if you're on a budget.

Piece of junk. Worked nearly all day to set it up correctly. Turned it on first time and it worked about a minute. Heard a crackle sound and it shut down. Flashing red light afterwards. Won’t power up just red flashing light. Really frustrating. I was gung-ho on Yamaha, but now, not so much. Also not happy with speaker connections. They are cheap little clips that won’t hold the speaker wires. They kept falling out. So disappointed.

We wanted to upgrade our sound system. Delivery and packaging were great! I am not tech savvy by any means but was able to install this with no issues! The different setting options are great that you can adjust to whatever you are watching. I like the sleek design of the speakers that I can still have the powerful sound without the bulky speakers all over the room. Only downside is the receiver is a bit on the bulky side so I had to buy a platform for it to be able to sit on my floating tv stand. But other than that this is a great system!

after getting everything hung and placed, turned on to sense an electrical burning smell, which only lasted a few moments. it worked at first, then after shutting it down for a bit to come back later and turn it on, there was no sound. kind of the last thing you want to happen with any Audio equipment, right . . could get the sound back after restarting device. then to top that, there was problem with video, nothing would come on the screen, which did not fix after a restart. so disconnected hdmi from receiver and hooked back to tv. i nvr understood why is necessary anyway. for ease sure, but it doesn't save much time or anything. none-the-less, i want having it, not much trouble getting reimbursed. but yes, huge waste of time and energy.

Easy setup and good sound quality however it’s not the loudest system, but is still very good for what’s on the market.

Es un teatro genial muchas funciones suena muy claro y nítido el sonido suena demás bastante duro y bonito es de sentarte y indagar bien en tantas funciones muy a gusto lo único es q si te gusta escuchar música siento q le a hace falta algo de bajo para cierto géneros de música como rap reggaeton si le subes mucho el volumen se ahoga y distorsiona el bajo y a veces siento como si tuviera mucha voz o brillo use el ypao y mejoro algo pero no del todo por eso pienso q le falta bajo tal vez me falta indagar mas en su funciones en mi opnion es un excelente equipo y no deja de ser yamaha muy buena marca pero aparte de esto excelente compra

El amplificador es excelente, las bocinas no tanto pero lo compré a un excelente precio.

Excelente sonido,una fidelidad muy buena
