Does it actually "attract" mosquitos?

I doubt it. Mosquitoes are usually attracted to scent. Any that fly into, or land on, this fly ribbon would get caught though. One thing that helps it get mosquitoes is to hang a ribbon near a nightlight. Mosquitoes and other flying insects are attracted to the light and get stuck on the fly ribbon. Fly ribbons were originally used, and still are, in dairying and will trap any flying insect but especially ones that land on things.

It says 10 pak on the product description but the packaging says 6 ribbons.... What is the correct count?

Although I received a 10-pack with nine ribbons, I would say it should come with 10 ribbons.

can this be used in kitchen?
