These bowls are perfect size for any meal that you want to stir around with vigor, without sliding it off the side of the plate; pasta with sauce, chinese food on rice, a hearty salad... Plus, they're attractive and sturdy. They've become a favorite go-to dish in my house!

I really like these bowls. I use them for salads and soups. For me, they could be just a teeny bit larger since I like big salads for lunch. However, what I like best is the quality of the ceramic. They aren't too porous, which means they won't chip easily and they don't get too hot in the microwave. I had a set once where the bowl just COOKED in the microwave, and they chipped so easily. When these bowls stack, they don't fit one inside the other in order to save space, but they are very attractive, and that is what I like. They will look so nice when I have company over for wild rice soup and cards (live in Minnesota).

We like these for everything for salads to casseroles to rice dishes, to spaghetti. The larger ones were to big and heavy for me to handle with arthritis, but the 32 oz size is just right. They are sturdy and the sides of the bowl fits a spoon edge perfectly. Highly recommended.

We like the size of this bowl. Great for salads and other items that like a wide shallow bowl. The color and consistency of bowls is great. These are not seconds with visible flaws. There are two downsides I see, I would have preferred packages of 6 like the plates come in and the shipping packaging could be better. Of the 2 sets of cereal bowls, the 2 sets of dinner plates, 1 set of salad plates and 1 set of these pasta bowls (6 boxes total), there was a broken plate and a broken pasta bowl. I could live with one less plate since I ordered 2 sets, but 1 less bowl or a set of 4 is not ideal. They will do refunds or send new items, but the hassle factor is what you have to deal with. Hopefully they improve their packing in the future since it has to eat into their profit margins.

These are a nice size for a main dish salad, or to fill part way with pasta and sauce or soup. They are heavy so that food stays hot. The glaze is slightly different on each, so they don't look mass produced.
