Problems? Try this.
I've used this for a couple of months now and I just love this thing. I always bought the stuff in the can which is probably full of chemicals and the brands I bought changed the spray nozzle design so that it always leaked. I had just had it and thought anything had to be better than those.I've had no problems with clogging or leaking with this. I mix my olive oil with half alcohol (I use vodka because it doesn't have much flavor). Don't have to measure it, just kind of eyeball into the container. I think this thins it out so you have less problems. Just give it a good shake before you spray. You can use water instead, but might have to worry about bacteria build-up and vodka is more fun anyway.I use this on my cast irons, bake-ware, tops of biscuits, pies, breads, the grill, whatever. I'm sure any cheap spray bottle would work, but this is glass and food grade. Plastic is going to leach into your food. Especially when you are filling it with oil. I've filled it four times and haven't had to wash it out yet; Prepara people told me to just do it if it clogs. But I suppose at some point I will have to break down and clean it............

trigger oil sprayer
Oh boy. This oil sprayer is awesome. I own several that you have to pump to spray. This one is easy. Fill. Spray. If you fast spray, its a stream, a bit slower its a spray... easy peasy, right? I love it. The glass bottom holds around 1/2 cup (?)... so it's small.. but when you "spray" oil (in my case, olive), it goes a long way. Mostly I use it on my popcorn instead of butter - apparently healthier, as I said I use olive oil. I am so impressed with this sprayer, I have retired my pump action oil sprayers. Wish I had found this one first... but live and learn and then share! I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

Doesn't spray, just throws large gobs, and nozzle does in fact pop off like in the other reviews.
I thought I was going to be one of the lucky ones that got a unit who's nozzle wouldn't pop off like in a lot of the other reviews, I was wrong. Now I believe all the other reviews, don't quite know why I didn't before deciding to buy it. Wishful thinking perhaps? It's not that some people get faulty ones and others don't, they are just all made the same. Looks nice but doesn't do what it's supposed to which is to SPRAY olive oil. Instead this thing literally THROWS gobs at your food in extra large "chunks", much like a pump style ketchup dispenser, even when the nozzle hasn't yet popped off. You would literally get a more even distribution of oil simply by pouring it out of the bottle. I do admit, it does look and feel like a quality product until you try and use it. A purchase I regret every time I see this thing on my counter. But feel free to do like I did and try it for yourself before you believe all the reviews. Just kidding, no don't.

Very sturdy
My only complaint is I wished it misted instead of just spray

This is the oil mister I'd recommend. However it works best with thin (light) oils.
I have tried and used several and this one has lasted the longest. It will outlast a "Misto" by years.Understand that no oil sprayer/mister will reliably produce a mist-like spray akin to a can or PAM. Also, if you use thick oils like lecithin, olive oil or any oil winch solidifies at lower temperatures, it will quickly clog and not spray right due to the thickness of the lipids and the fact that waxy hydrocarbons will adhere to the inside of the tubing and harden. If you are willing to use canola, corn, peanut, grape, etc instead, you'll have a much better experience with it.Note: of course if your ideals dictate you use organic free-trade extra virgin olive oil pressed by the toes of liberated SJWs, you'll have to keep the oil warm to use it and be able to live with the fact that within a year or two, you'll be throwing it into a land fill (causing global warming) and buying another one.

Does not spray mist
I tried to vary how slow I pulled the trigger and it didn't change anything. It just squirted out oil in a stream. I wanted it for a mist spray. I read the reviews about this issue but figured I'm not picky and a heavy mist or bigger drops is OK but wasn't expecting a solid stream and no way to adjust it. I wanted to return it now but I can't because the return window just closed last week. I've only used it for one week (I didn't open it for about 3 weeks). I should have used it sooner so I'd have time to return it.

I use this every day
Spray mist is pretty consistent per squeeze. I hit my nonstick pan pan w 5 or 6 sprtizes for fried eggs. I've purchased extras.... as gifts and a backup. Though i must fill it often. ..with avacado oil, but will sometimes use olive as well.
