WORTH EVERY PENNY
If you saw 2 Five Star Reviews and no other feed back like I did, you, like myself, probably thought it was a bogus review. I still don't know, but I do know, for now, the first time I used it, rates 5 stars. This unit came with 3 chopper blades, all parts, including grind plates and chopper blades ALL stainless steel and sturdy and hella sharp. I ground up over 60lbs of meat and about 10 lbs of chicken necks, that went through easy as a bag of Cheetos but the 20 lbs of turkey necks gave a bit of a problem. When I put a whole one through, when the large end was going through, the unit jammed. No reverse, so I just took it apart and worked that sucker out. The rest of the necks I had chopped down to more manageable sizes, (about 2-3 inch lengths,) and it worked great...loud but worked fine. The outside of the unit started getting a bit hot, (maybe 20 lbs of turkey necks? yep, probably) but it never missed a beat. I won't use turkey necks again, as chicken necks are so easy and not a risk. I ground carrots, sweet potatoes, (hard as rocks,) Kale, (I'm making dog food,) and I loved it. I ground 70 lb of combined product and it took 2 hours...but I was butchering beef hearts too, so this thing rocks! Anyway, it's got good warranties and so far it's good voodoo. Buy it.

10" discharge center height and lots of power. #12. Perfect for processing large amounts of game.
I had been shopping for a couple years for a grinder to replace my low cost MTM for processing wild game. I had borrowed my neighbors LEM with #12 head. Its a great grinder with lots of power, and I had considered duplicating his choice, but there were two parameters which lead me to this grinder. 1) I wanted the hub to be higher off the working surface. The grind piles get high and its no fun to slow down to knock down the pile. To me this is one of the most important parameters, but it is not even mentioned in the descriptions of any of the grinders. 2) I wanted something a bit more compact that would be easier to store. This grinder delivered. It uses the same grind plates at the LEM (both are #12 heads). I ordered a hubbed plate for ease of removal. All the parts are stainless. The auger is shorter than the LEM, and I was concerned it would not grab and feed the meat as well, but after one use, my concerns were eased. You dont even need a stomper with this thing. It has a large throat, to drop the meat in, and the meat gets pulled out of your hands. The grind shoots out the plate showing a lot of pressure is driving it. Lots of power.... it was the perfect grinder for me. The fact that its quite a bit cheaper than the LEM or Weston (Both also made in China) is a Bonus.

Poor packaging causing damage
Received this item twice and both times arrived damaged. This looks like a very good grinder, but will never know. The manufacture failed to properly package the heavy grinder and tray. Damage most likely occurred during transits and carriers flip package upside down and due to the weight of the grinder (50lbs) is crushing the tray which makes it unusable and for the price being paid, I won't compromise. Good luck, YMMV.

It's a monster!
Outstanding machine! I use it to prepare my dog's raw food and it absolutely destroys raw chicken drumsticks and necks without a hint of effort and is blazingly fast. It's also extremely quiet in operation! There are a couple downsides, however. The unit gets extremely HOT to the touch after about 15 minutes of continuous use and you should pay close attention to which extraction disc you use. Too small of a disc will cause the grinder to bind up and stop. The other caveat (and my reason for only giving it 4 stars instead of 5) is there is no reverse on the machine. You have to disassemble it to clear a jam. But owerall it's fantastic. Spend the money and don't buy one of the sub $100 grinders on Amazon. You'll regret going cheap.

Excellent for making homemade pet food with raw chicken bones
Very good meat grinder. I was able to grind up 3 whole chickens with the bones plus a package of chicken thighs without bone in 5 minutes. For the record, the chicken legs went through more easily when I put the small end through first. Very easy to use and very easy to clean. You do need to buy oil for this grinder. The instructions say "oil of motorcycle" which is a obviously translation issue. I went to Menards and bought engine oil from the power equipment section - the specific product I bought is "Quicksilver Marine Lubricants Premium 2-Stroke Engine Oil". The label for this engine oil included a picture of a motorcycle, so I felt pretty good about using this particular engine oil. One thing that the instructions say is to loosen the nut where the oil is housed when you are grinding the meat - just something to pay attention to. In addition, the instructions say that you are supposed to change the oil after the first 50 hours of use. Given that I'll be grinding meat and bones for 5 minutes at a time every 2 weeks, it's going to be awhile before I hit the 50-hour mark. I'm thinking I should change the oil after the first year just to be safe.

Newhai 1.3
I love this grinder, this is the fourth one I've owned in my 68 years. I made 20# of farm sausage the first run. I always run three times to mix the spices, so basically 60#, finished in 16 minutes.

Does what I need it to do without breaking a sweat.
So much better than the kind that attach to your mixer stand….by a lot.

Worth the money
Put a couple hundred pounds of beef through it now problem. Jammed once but the price of meat was too big. No complaints. All stainless.
