One of the best olive oils around

I love the this oil but no mention of virgin or extra virgin. I thought for the price it was extra virgin.

I am not a connoisseur of raw oil but this high acidity XX virgin stuff gives off a wonderfully pungent smell when you fry with it. I don’t use it for everything but I use it when it will shine.

This olive was between $10-$13 about 9 months ago. All of a sudden it is $34. It takes great but there is absolutelyno excuse for the price hike! Guess I will not be buying it again!

I have enjoyed Portuguese olive oil in the past, but this one is very heavy tasting and dark gold. It contains refined olive oil, which is done with chemicals or heat, mixed with virgin olive oil. This was not mentioned in the product description. Not a quality product. I should have known based on the price alone.

the best olive oil ever ... intense flavor, whenever I serve my salads and special recipes for family and friends, that's all praise.

We really like the flavor of this Portuguese Olive Oil. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is because it comes in platic rather than glass.
