We chose to go with an adhesive towel holder because we have drywall and usually one with nails doesn't hold up too well. This one works great. The adhesive is strong... maybe a little too strong. Once you get it on, forever hold your peace because it's not coming off. Thats the only downfall of this product. If you are needing to remove it, it does peel off your paint and sometimes your drywall too. I've tried the removing process and it doesn't work for me. So yes, I've had to repatch walls after using this but for now it's where I want it, it looks beautiful, well made, doesn't feel cheap, holds up well, sturdy, and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.

I haven’t put a towel on it yet, but it was easy to install in my fiberglass unit and is still attached to the wall at this point.

I've had to buy a towel rack because the apartment we moved into was designed by a maniac who didn't include a towel holder. My main concern was how well the adhesive would hold, but a week in, we're doing alright! I've hung both wet and dry towels of all sizes on it (of course my main concern is bath towels) and so far, not a budge, no pull, the rack is as sturdy and stoic as that guy in Casablanca. It's a really chic silver tone and the bar itself aligns flush (I have a weird thing against visible divides when you assemble metal bars...) and like I said, the glue (though not 3M or any identifiable reliable brand to my disappointment) is doing its job!

Nice option for us but a few suggestions to make it five stars. 1) Wish the tape on the back was clear. I added these to our shower glass and from the inside the white sticky tape looks ugly. Would rather have clear and seeing the chrome instead. 2) A little hard to install for one person because the bar does not screw in. It's loose leaving you with trying to keep the bar level, keep both mounts vertical (they tilt), and applying pressure all at the same time. I dropped the bar a few times trying to make leveling/straightening adjustments. I'm still happy with my purchase and bought another. Great alternative to just throwing our towels over the glass shower wall.

Well, it looks like I have had this for four years now. In that time it has done it's job flawlessly. This is a peel and stick unit so I'm going to assume that if you stick it to the paint over the drywall - in your damp bathroom - you might not have a good time. I stuck it to the inside of the (wooden) bathroom door and it has been fine. I admit I haven't tried to do any chin ups from it, but it has held some big fluffy towels alright - and looked good while doing it.

So far so good! It has three washcloths on it and it is holding up well.

If you only need a towel bar for two months, this is your towel bar. It's a little thin and small, but it looks nice and the 16-inch model is just long enough for one towel folded in half (with a little scrunching). I bought it on December 16 to hang an extra towel in the bathroom while we had family over for the holidays. It came with no instructions, but I've installed many 3M Command Strip adhesives, so I did the full dance: Wipe the wall (typical gloss painted), clean the area with isopropyl alcohol, attach the item, press and hold for 60 seconds, leave it alone for 24 hours. As I said, it then worked perfectly for two months, holding a wet towel for the first 2 weeks with no problems. Then, after family left, it did nothing but look nice for 6 weeks. No towel, nothing hanging from it. Three days ago, I noticed the bar was askew. The left side was slipping down the wall, from nothing but its own weight. I moved it back to its original position. Last night, we heard a loud clanging noise. The entire thing had simply fallen off of the wall. This is a low-humidity bathroom with good venting (the mirror never fogs). I have a KES adhesive toilet paper holder in the same room with zero problems. This item, however, I would not recommend, unless you have another way to mount it.

Great product. Arrived earlier than expected. Took me 2 minutes to put it on the bathroom wall and it looks good. Although it's heavier than I expected it to be, the adhesive is strong and keeps well (so far). The only thing, if I buy it again I would probably go for a longer rail as this one is only wide enough for a narrow hand towel unless you like to fold your towel when hanging it.
