Build quality is sturdy but it’s plastic so keep that in mind. It comes with an adapter so you can use it with standard tripod mount cameras (non GoPro). The adapter has a screw disc that tightens against the camera but it isn’t captive and if the camera isn’t on, it can fall off. I lost mine the first day I used it, but liked it enough that I ordered a replacement init.You can tilt it forward and backwards, and tighten in to place. You can tilt left and right and tighten in place using the ring. Very flexible.Great for the price.

Sturdy lightweight plastic with a hard clamping pressure. Rotates and all of that.

I purchased this for our trip to Europe. I clamped it to my backpack strap, and never had to worry about losing my camera. It held firm. The clamp is really strong. Worth it!
