Collecting up a lot of bits for your rotary tool can get messy. Tools are so much more valuable when you can find and get to what you want with minimal hassle. First, this is a very comprehensive set. Second, the case that holds them is outstanding. I saw one online review that suggested leaving the molded plastic cover inside the case to help hold the bits in place. If the bits are properly seated, that is absolutely unnecessary. When you open the box, you may find a few bits are loose and rattling around in the case. Do not be discouraged! They will stay in place reliably if you seat them properly. The manufacturer obviously was a little sloppy on that score. To seat a bit, put the stem in its hole and snap the top into place in that order. I guarantee it will stay put. Check all the bits to be sure they are properly seated. Another plus is the manual that comes with it. It will explain anything unfamiliar. This product is not cheap, but I think it's a bargain given the thoughtful layout and the overall high quality. If you have a rotary tool, get this kit.

I don't usually review items which I haven't yet used, but this one warrants an immediate review! I do a LOT of research before making a purchase, and have used rotary tools (always Dremel until now, I've switched to a Worx MakerX system). Every review I've seen for every set not made by Dremel complains about flimsy cases and inserts for the bits which quickly become useless. Even in Dremel and other name-brand products, the inserts are next to useless, so a sturdy case also becomes almost worthless. The ApexForge case is actually the best I've ever seen, and the bit inserts are solid enough that if and when a bit needs to be replaced, it can re-use the slot occupied by the original. I'm pretty easy on tools, and am fine with replacing things like HSS bits that wear out from heavy use. For my uses, this is def the best kit I've purchased, over MANY years... and is a STEAL at this price!

Great gift for a handy guy. Alot of accessories for every need and good charge life. Worth the price for sure.

Not going to say these are the highest quality parts I have ever owned for a rotary tool, but for the price, they give me the opportunity to try out some pieces that I may have never tried due to cost. I don't think of this as a collection, as much as a sample. that said, I have had good luck with most of the pieces in here and have only had a few quality issues, none of them major. For the price, I couldn't beat it and the case is worth the money if nothing else.

I was rummaging around in my shop and found my old Dremel tool. It was in great shape, but I had no accessories to go with it. This versatile set was just the answer that I was looking for. It provides a vast array of drill bit, grinding wheels, sandpaper discs, polishing tools and just about everything else you would need for casual around the house or hobby/crafting needs. The case allows a quick visual scan of the contents, and keeps everything neat and organized within. Great selection of tools at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

Let me begin by saying I am not paid by this company nor indoors in any way shape or form. So I have no obligation or any motive give a falsified review nor over the product that you are reviewing. Nor am I an influencer so here goes. First off you do get more bits and pieces then Dremel has to offer and it has a nice organized case. But that where it stops the Flint wheels that are used for polishing.are cheap buy cheap I mean that once you load it up with polishing paste and set your thermostat between the speeds of 20 and 18 and use it for more than three to five minutes the wheel will either melt causing it to shrink inside or just come right off of the shaft that is mounted on. So polishing or using the polishing bits are useless. The little silver diamond wheel that is used for cutting is cheap as well it's like cheap aluminum and not the good aluminum the one that get bend just using your fingers type of aluminum. The bits for engraving and everything else works just fine except for the actual polishing pics but the wire wheels and everything else works just fine oh and the little wrench that they give you yeah don't really recommend using that either. If you can get this item on sale for the price of $20 to $24 it is worth it but for the $34 yeah that's a no go. If you are looking for something to use for polishing or replacement bits for polishing I would look somewhere else or if you do want to get this I do recommend buying a bigger bundle size of polishing wheels and buffing wheels because yeah the ones in this set suck. Oh I almost forgot the polishing paste that it comes with is not a cream it's actually solid and the only way to get it out of the little canister is to either cut the plastic off of the canister to get the piece out or do what I did and drill a little hole on the bottom of the canister and use a q-tip or something to push it out so yeah. I wouldn't really recommend getting this unless it's on sale. Or if you're not planning to do any polishing.

I find myself saying the title a lot but I meannnn, it’s true. To go buy these “bits” separately you’d spend a fortune. Even kits at the store are way more than this for way less pieces. This kit literally saved me a few weeks ago. I used the diamond top wheel to recut the threads in a knuckle on a semi. The threads were smashed by someone else so I couldn’t get the kingpin cap to thread in. For those of you thinking “why didn’t he use a tap”… I don’t even think they make a tap that big. The wheel worked fantastically and you can’t even tell that I used the wheel. I’ve used other attachments as well and I have no complaints. Definitely a good kit.
