This violet thread worked great for sewing pointe shoes. The color did well on mocha-colored pointe shoes for ribbons, elastics, and darning.

I'm an experienced professional crocheter, lucky I finally found my best thread ✨️

Mostly easy to crochet with, except it does twist up like crazy. I have to frequently hang it to unwind. I'm not sure if this is preventable, but another brand of size 10 thread I use does not twist up at all, and both are S twist threads. So maybe it's the way it wound up initially as a ball.The brown color has a lot of pink undertones, so it looks almost mauve. It is a "classic" looking color.

At first, I was confused because the label on every ball of the thread said " YarnArt Violet", which turns out to be the name of their 100% mercerized cotton thread, NOT the color.Just like most other yarns and crochet threads, the color is printed on the back of the label.The thread itself worked just fine on my projects and I have purchased it several times in several colors.
