Country Life Power Dairy-Zyme Capsules 50 'S

I have been using the Dairy-Zyme Caps for a couple of months now. I used to either buy name-brand Lactaid pills or buy the generic lactase 9000s from big box stores. At first I wasn't overly keen on the capsules because sometimes I have trouble digesting capsules vs tablets or gel caps. BUT these honestly work better than the name brand even though they only have 6,000 lactase per two capsules instead of 9,000. The difference is that Dairy-Zyme has enzymes that break down milk proteins as well as milk sugar (lactose). I rarely get the more severe reactions that I normally get from consuming dairy products when using these. Sometimes even Lactaid will only go so far when I'm having dairy. With Dairy-Zyme, there is no diarrhea, gas, or upset stomach. However, I have not tried drinking a glass of milk with this - which is pretty much the bane of my existence. Even 2-3 pills of the lactase 9,000 will not work with a glass of straight milk - I can only drink lactose free milk. I can enjoy ice cream, sauces, cheese, ranch dressing, Cheez-Itz and most dairy products with Dairy-Zyme. So even though I only get 50 pills for $12 instead of 60-100 pills, it's been worth the cost for me so far. Eating dairy is so much easier with these pills. I only get severe reactions now if I've been eating a lot of dairy all day long. I highly recommend for people like me who have more severe lactose intolerance.

These are great. I have tried other dairy pills and had little to no effect. These suckers work. I had fondue the other day and took two of these and it was like I hadn't even eaten a cheese based meal at all.

I've bought this product for years and just now finding the time to make a review. It you are lactose intolerant, this is the best supplement I've found. You take with your first bite. Easy to swallow. No weird taste.

I am very satisfied with Dairy-Zyme. The capsules are very easy to take and do the job. I plan on purchasing this item again.

These really work for me. I'm not supposed to have dairy due to my IBS, but its hard to avoid all the time. When I cheat (or accidentally eat) dairy, I take one of these before (or as soon as I can) and it mitigates the damage. I've started giving them to the rest of the family and they all feel like it really helps their digestion as well when they have dairy products.
