Okish
They’re ok but brake very easily. They’re not going to last very long.

To thick
Theses are to thick to make a mark on the fabric.

Better then the chalk I had
Good colour selection, the string is tough to pull it is to release the paper, I remember seeing them years ago. I have not managed to pull the string , so I used my nail to break the paper at the top. This would not stop me purchasing them again when they run out.

Too soft, and all the "leads" are broken inside.
I wouldn’t buy these again. They are the peel down type and always break. They don’t mark the fabric before breaking off. Only bin-worthy.

They work.
Awesome tailors chalk built into a pencil. What’s not to like.

IT DEPENDS ON YOUR DEFINITION OF A CHALK PENCIL
These are described as chalk pencils but they seem to be half way between chalk and a wax pencil they mark cotton very easily but are not nearly as easy to rub out with a wet cloth in fact it would probably take two normal washes to remove all the lines. Which is not to say I am not pleased - they come in a range of colours and unlike chalk pencils are self lubricating and slide over fabrics wihout catching and do not disappear with the slight rubbing they get while being pinned basted and sewn . Altogether a good buy and I shall buy again..

Good
They're great now , what do I do to get a point when worn down. I see a string do I just pull that?

Does The Job
I have used tailor’s chalk before now but it rubbed off very easily and you have lost what you were trying to mark. These pencils however seems to stay put and can be relied upon. I have not put a star rating for ‘easy to remove’ as I have only just started to use them on my sewing and haven’t yet tried removing it. However I don’t anticipate any problems.
