Dioralyte Relief Oral Dehydration Therapy Sugar-Free Sachets - Blackcurrant Flavour - 6 Sachets

Dioralyte is fantastic stuff, this is a review of the product but not in the usual sense. I had read online about how dioralyte works really well for hangovers, this is because of it's re-hydration properties. Now I am in my 20's my hangovers have become quite unbearable at times. I also have experienced some success with berocca with hangovers. I decided why not try both? I put on tablet of berocca and one sachet of dioralyte in a glass and added 200 mls of water, mixed it up and drank it. Surprisingly it tastes quite nice and did it work for hangovers? Yes I can say it works really, really well. I have even started drinking a mixture once before bed after drinking and then one when I get up. I wouldn't try anything else now!

This is one of those products you buy while telling yourself you’re “being sensible now”, which turns out to be exactly what it’s for. The blackcurrant flavour is perfectly acceptable in the way that suggests it’s not here to be exciting, just helpful. It tastes like something designed by adults who have seen some things and decided hydration was more important than fun. It does exactly what it promises. Mixes easily, goes down without argument, and leaves you feeling noticeably more human afterwards. No dramatic fanfare, just a steady return to the land of the upright and functioning. Not something you’d choose for a treat, but very reassuring to have in the cupboard for moments when your body has clearly lodged a formal complaint. Sensible, reliable, and quietly heroic in its own way

Taste is hard to line

Purchased 2 packs prior to our holiday. When needed they worked really quickly and efficiently resolved the issue!! They don't taste overly nice but do the job. One negative observation, one of the packs only contained 4 sachets instead of 6 so best to check upon receipt.

Total pick you up if dehydrated. Great taste and smells like blackcurrant. Good price Settled tummy quickly
