This gelatin works really well for homemade gummies, desserts, and thickening recipes. It dissolves as expected and the “unflavored” part is truly neutral in most things I’ve made. I used this to thicken yogurt as an experiment. What I got WORKED, but what I got was JELLO YOGURT. If you like JELLO, don't mind the bouncy, plastic consistency, then you can say the experiment was a success. But what I REALLY FOUND was it was not the yogurt I sought. In order to get thick, Greek yogurt like I want you have strain, strain, strain through microfilters to get as much of the whey out as possible. I found that two to three days of straining gives me the thickest I'm going to get, AND, the consistency I seek. As I have always known, if you want something good - really good - you must be prepared to WORK FOR IT & be prepared to be patient for the results to happen when they come. With yogurt, you cannot force the kind of quality I seek!!!!!
