Great smell

Ancient Nutrition was my go to brand, but since they no longer sell Frankincense, I tried Aura Cacia. It isn’t as strong, but still works well, and the price is excellent compared to other high end brands that works just as well.

Product came as expected. Last Fall I used this brand of frankincense oil (have not tried other brands) for eliminating a large pre-cancerous keratosis on my scalp, just at the edge of my face. My lovely skin doctor did not want to freeze it because it was too large and she didn't want to "put a hole in [my] head", so she said we would just watch it. I had watched a video of a young woman who healed her brain stem cancer over a period of four years using frankincense oil, along with changes in diet and lifestyle. So just to see, I started applying a few drops of the oil to the keratosis twice a day, rubbing it in. Over about two months the growth gradually dissolved and disappeared! I can still feel an ever-so-slight roughness on the spot, maybe scar tissue (can't see it because hair covers the spot). It's been several months now and so far the growth has not come back. And just to note, I got the benefit of the wonderful smell of the frankincense during the healing process. BTW, I have heard that drugstore hydrogen peroxide can be used to heal keratosis growths in the same way -- applying it twice a day. Have not tried that.

Good after a cerebral stroke. I read this somewhere and remembered that there exists a scientific study that shows that frankincense helps to restore and heal patients after having suffered a cerebral stroke. My mom, who recently suffered a cerebral stroke has been using this with carrier oil. She rubs it in the area where the stroke occurred and diffuses this at night. I use it in various recipes ( for arthritic pain) and it helps me too. I love that the price is so reasonable. Even though I love YL, I cannot afford them. Aura Casia is now my preferred EO vendor because of its quality and affordability. My one complaint— change the lids. I hate fighting with these!
