I recently started reading this NIV Pocket Thinline Bible, which has already become one of the most essential things in my life. I call it my “checkbook Bible” because it is so slim and portable—it fits in my pocket, car, or bag to take it everywhere. As someone with a bit of dyslexia and ADHD, I’ve often found it hard to stay focused when reading. But this Bible has been a blessing—the NIV translation is simple and straightforward, and the Comfort Print makes even the small 6-pt font easy to follow. It encourages me to read daily, and I’ve committed to a one-year reading plan. This Bible has helped me slow down, process Scripture at my own pace, and genuinely connect with God’s Word. It’s not just a book—it feels like a daily reminder that God walks with me in my work, travels, and struggles. I’m grateful to have this as part of my journey to grow closer to Him. I love this Bible. It goes in my bag with me every day and everywhere I go. Love having one this size. Please note the font is not for people with poor vision. My wife can't read the words, even with her glasses on. It is easier to read if you use a magnifier, and you'll need a light to read in low light conditions or you'll give yourself a headache. Can't beat the portability, though.

This NIV Bible is well-constructed. The binding is solid, and the leatherette covers are durable. The print is fairly small, but as easily readable as anything else with my readers. :) It is the Bible I take when I travel, and it is slender enough, in width, that it fits into the cargo pocket on my shorts. It's tall enough that it'll protrude, but I think anything smaller would make it difficult to read. Highly recommended for Christians who travel.

Perfect travel size Bible. I was going on a trip where I wanted to bring my regular Bible but trying to fit everything in a carryon. This Bible fits perfect in my purse too. Looks nice and it is readable though font is small for sure. Totally recommend this Bible to take with you anywhere

This is exactly perfect in what we needed. I can't imagine why no one has shown a picture of a "pocket Bible" fitting in pocket on any review anywhere! We bought this thinking that if it didn't fit, we would return it. I looked at so many different Bibles and this one is exactly right. Jr. can tuck this into his back pocket when he goes to church or wherever, it's got a ribbon bookmark, he says it's readable, and it includes Genesis to the end.

Brilliant

I am really impressed by this small bible. It's compact and the outside has a great feel. It says leathersoft, but it's more of a fabric vinyl feel. The fact that such a small bible can lay completely flat is a huge bonus. The font that is used is 'comfort print', which makes it very easy to read. Bear in mind that this is a small print (6-point print size). It is an actually bound bible, not glued, which will make it last even longer. I'm going to be using with a medium sized Travelers notebook. it fits perfectly within the cover with an extra notebook.
