Well look no further this White Tea (Organic) is a great light hearted but bold tea
Have you ever tried Black Tea and thought darn why do people bother drinking tea? Have you ever wanted to taste something smooth and light yet flavorful similiar to Green Tea you may have tried at your grocery store? Well look no further this White Tea (Organic) is a great light hearted but bold tea. The flavor profile is somewhat complex but not heavy on your stomach/gut. Packed with natural antoxidants (polyphenols) and even vitamins from essential oils. The fact that you can brew a cup or two and drink before eating is great. I am a fan of Green Tea and I found out about "White Tea" and said I have to give it a chance. It's similiar to Green Tea's crisp and light refreshing effect. White Tea is less processed compared to Green Tea And Green Tea is less processed compared to Black Tea. Basically White Tea packs more healthy stuff yet having a great boldish flavor and aroma. Green Tea tends to have a vegetal flavor profile and some people maybe turned off by that. But White Tea has a nice unique aroma and flavor. It's almost hard to describe I'd say it's more close to "Earthy" / "Sweet" / "Fruity" etc. Like it's not just one thing it's a unique blend made from White Penoy leftovers. The batch I received of this Organic Tea matches up the flavor profile/aroma and even the color brewed it's "Shou Mei Tea" (a white tea). It's close to being inbetween White and Green tea but it's most definitely not green tea or black tea. I'd consider it White Tea. It has a unique flavor profile yet it's easy on your stomach. There is no "vegetal" taste like Green Tea. And it's not has heavy as Black Tea. I would buy another packet again when I run out/low. Give it a try. Also this bundle is a deal compared to other Shou Mei White Tea packs. Here is a brief description of Shou Mei: Shou mei, often translated longevity eyebrows, and sometimes spelled sow mee, is a type of Chinese white tea. Shou mei tends to be made out of larger, more mature leaves, and contains relatively fewer tips or leaf buds, although the portion of tips can vary considerably within this style. Although it is usually classified as a white tea, the brewed tea tends to be darker in color than most white teas, reflecting an increased level of oxidation. Shou mei is usually described as richer and bolder in comparison to other white teas. The flavor and aroma is sometimes described as more similar to that of oolong tea than other white teas. Shoumei is a white tea that is produced from naturally withered upper leaf and tips, with a stronger flavor reminiscent of lighter oolong teas. It is mostly grown in the Fujian Province or Guangxi Province in China. Because it is plucked later than Bai Mudan (White Penoy), the tea may be darker in color, but it should still have a proportionate green color. Some lower grades of Shou Mei may be golden in color with a lot of black and red leaves, making a darker brew with more depth.

Good Tea and A Great Value.
I have ordered this tea several times over the year and found it to have favorable color, flavor, and aroma. I am not a tea snob and generally purchase what I like. I drink gallons of iced tea! This tea has consistently brewed "clear" for me. Not cloudy. The individual bags are new for me, but are made well enough to hold together for brewing. The flavor profile is in line with other White Teas I have sampled. I'd rank it very good among the "supermarket" teas. It is a good value and will be in my cart for future online orders.

5 Stars
After trying a number of White teas, I've settled on Uncle Lee's. It brews into a nice tasting mild tea at an affordable price. I like the bamboo tong that's included in every package

Good white tea at a superb price
The Amazon description, saying this is Bai Mu Dan, is incorrect. It is actually fannings. Fannings is the second to the smallest leaf size. Fannings are used in tea bags because of their small size and economic price. On the Uncle Lee's tea website, this tea is shown just as white camellia sinensis. The Uncle Lee's Organic White tea that is described as Bai Mu Dan on the Uncle Lee website is $5 for 18 bags. The only other pure white tea I've had is Republic of Tea's Emperor's white tea, which I find superior to this tea, having a milder and sweeter flavor that is even more pleasant to drink without sweetener than this one. The Uncle Lee's white tea is closer to an oolong in both color and flavor than the Emperor's, with just a hint of bitterness and none of the herbal tones of a green tea. That said, the RoT Emperor's White is almost 6 times more expensive than this tea, and Uncle Lee's is still easy to drink without sweetener, so I'll save the Emperor's for special moments and use the Uncle Lee's as my "daily drinker." Having more flavor, I find that this makes an excellent iced tea.
