Easy to install and allows me to control the loft's ceiling fan on/off from the lower level of the house.

It didn't work after I installed it correctly. Spent 30 minutes trying to reprogram it with no avail. Finally, I checked the battery. The 12 volt battery only had 6.2 volts. Fortunately I had a replacement battery or it would have meant a trip to the store. It works fine now. They need better quality control. AFTER WRITING THIS REVIEW THE COMPANY REFUNDED $7 TO COMPENSATE FOR MY INCONVENIENCE. GREAT COMPANY, I WILL GO OUT OF MY WAY TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Easy install, but doesn’t consistently turn off. It always turns on the first try, but many times takes 3 or more pushes to turn off

Easy peasy install and now I have a light in my hallway! I really didn’t want to have to fish a wire down or patch drywall. This washer so easy and works great! Very happy with my purchase

This took significantly more installation than I expected, but the result is great. I disconnected the original wall switch wiring at both ends. A wireless switch was then installed on the original wall switch box (easy) and I have three additional wireless switches, also programmed to operate this same ceiling light. The ceiling light box was small and considerable effort was required to re-arrange the existing wiring within the box so the new receiver module could fit in there and still allow the LED and programming button to be accessible. This button needs to be pressed to cause the LED to flash and then the wireless switch needs to be activated to program the receiver for that new wireless switch. This needs to be repeated again for each new wireless switch to become active. When all wireless switches can turn the light on and off, then the light fixture can be mounted, covering access to this programming button and LED on the receiver. The manual could be improved here. The installation of the receiver for these switches DOES REQUIRE wiring within the electrical box in the ceiling and the original light switch box. Anyone not experienced in doing this electrical work should seek professional help for this installation. I'm a retired Electrical Engineer and licensed electrician, so I was comfortable doing it. Also, the colors of the receiver wiring are not per the USA Electrical Code, so read the manual Red and Blue are the power inputs to this receiver. Black and white go to the light fixture. This is backwards from the National Electric Code, but follow the Surialec Manual and DO NOT hook it up backwards. This light is the ceiling light of my photo/video studio and I frequently need to turn this light off when it will affect the photography lighting, then back on when no longer taking photos or videos. A wireless switch is now located in the original wall switch position, plus one at each camera. Nobody needs to find the wall switch in the dark after the photo shoot any more.

I bought 4 of these with the goal of being able to remotely operate four fixtures. I installed the first, and found it worked intermittently. It could turn the light on and off, much of the time, but often required multiple attempts. Occasionally, it would not operate at all. Since I intended to install four switches, I decided to try a second one, and maybe it would work perfectly. But it worked more or less like the first switch. Operations succeeded intermittently, but failures were not identical to the failures of the first switch. Then I looked at the reviews more carefully. Reviews ranking the product from 1 to 3 stars almost always cited the intermittent behavior. This convinced me that the product design was inherently at fault. I returned all four switches, including two remaining that I not bothered to open and test. I wanted remote switches that worked perfectly. Intermittent behavior is not acceptable. My recommendation is to avoid this product until a new product replaces this one, and the new product corrects the intermittent failures of the present product.

This remote works very well.

Update: After my review, customer service contacted me and gave me a refund. Well done on that front so I'll add 2 more stars. Doesn't make me think any better of the product, but it's handled by good people. Maybe I just had a dud given the other positive comments; however, it's not a product I recommend. Original review: Complete waste of money. Worked intermittently. Sometimes it would click on immediately, other times very slowly, then other times not at all. And it's not like you can trouble shoot in an app. You simply have no idea why it's not working. Unfortunately, I ordered a couple weeks before it was actually installed in my new light, and by the time I'd had 2 weeks of it not working as expected and getting fed up and removing it, it's outside the return window. Don't make the same mistake. Don't buy.

I used this to spilt up two fixtures that are on one switch. Worked great. I wish the receiver was a bit smaller, but it worked.

Facile à installer mais ne fonctionne pas. La boîte a été ouverte et la protection pour la batterie avait été retiré. Le produit avait probablement déjà été retourné une fois au vendeur. La batterie est à 3,6 volts? Très décevant les magasins dans mon quartier n’ont pas cette batterie. Le vendeur m’a remboursé rapidement. Super service après vente.

Light will not turn off after installing it. I asked for a solution and was told it might be the battery. I asked for them to ship me a battery they said they can't ship a battery and said they would credit my Credit card with $2.00. Wow what a deal. Not too sure $2.00 will cover this specialized battery. Photo below
