There is no built in light. . . Did I get the wrong description??? Lol. Otherwise, this little magnifier does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Well made, but did not look like 30X, may be 15X.

I've been selling some of my jewelry & couldn't read the stamped notes on the jewelry. This worked great figuring it all out.

I'll keep it because it seems to be fairly decent and I need a decent loupe. Sending it back would be a hassle. I am not happy about the bait and switch. I looked through the Amazon listings quite a bit before ordering this loupe. I ordered this one in particular because I believed the very prominent photo in the listing that says Made in Germany was accurate and truthful. In this era of COVID I always attempt to find products made in the US or her allies instead of under the direction of the CCP. As I said, it works, it was reasonably priced, but I am not happy it was made in China.
