Stopwatch,Metal Stop Watch for Sports Waterproof Stopwatches Timer for Sports and Competitions (2 lap with backlight-plastic)

We ordered this stopwatch/whistle combination to help with our homeschool exercise program. The stopwatch is plastic, not a scrap of metal on the entire thing, but it seems to be well made and looks to be durable for the long-haul. The buttons are responsive and in a convenient location on the watch. The digital read out is clear and easy to see. We were so busy the day the unit arrived that we lost the instruction booklet, but it only took about five minutes of fiddling to figure out the different functions, although the flashing days at the top are still a bit of a mystery :). It is nice to have something besides a phone that will fit in your hand to time different activities we do all throughout the day. The whistle is also lightweight but powerful. The alarm does work, although it is not very loud (which can be good or bad, depending on the circumstances). I think this is a great unit for the price. I highly recommend it.

No way I would purchase this or any Rolilink stopwatch again. First, there are too many functions that have to be set up-and that is not easy. The instructions are minimal and on a tiny sheet of paper I had to use a magnifying glass to see. There are multiple alarms that need to be turned off, but the alarms don't stay off. You never know what mode you will get when you turn it on. Although it does have a backlight and a large readout, a number of times I tried to use it, it would not go into stopwatch mode. It was stuck in some timer or clock mode. The display died after 2 months-and there are no instructions for replacing the battery. There are 7 tiny screws on the back that you might have to open, but I am not willing to waste any time on this. The company must use the same chip for their other units, so I will stay away from Rolilink. If you are looking for a basic stopwatch, I would not consider this one. I hope this review helps others make a decision.

Big Timer. Good for the coach or the Judge. I wouldn't run with this around my neck. It has large numbers which are easy to read. Fairly simple to navigate the controls. But I returned it because it only had a 24hr. clock. (No am/pm). I'm too old to learn military time. Other than that, I would have kept it.

I was looking for an accurate stopwatch that beeps and is a reasonable priced. That was hard to find. I found it in this stopwatch. The buttons have a positive feel, but you also get the beep to know when you hit the buttons. That's important for me as a motorcycle safety instructor who must time while watching techniques during testing. The sizing is perfect for my female hands. Granted, my hands are not small for a female. I haven't used it in rain yet, so I can't comment on that factor. Great purchase!
