Exactly what I needed
Do not throw out your old pump. Buy this instead. Perfect replacement part for serfas fp100 pump. It can be used to inflate bicycle and car tires!!

Works, but needs the screw on thingy.
It was nice looking and fit on the hose (this was a bicycle foot pump) but there was no screw on part to seal it - so I had to modify it with a typical hose clamp. It would be nice to have the threaded "nut" to go with the threaded shaft.

Restored an Old PFP-3 Home Mechanic Bike Pump (circa 2003)
After 18 years of using my Park Tool PFP-3 Home Mechanic Bike Pump (purchased in 2003), the pump head finally wore out (the pin holding the lever to the pump head would no longer stay in place because of wear on the plastic, and continually fell out while pumping up a tire). I was very happy to find on Park Tool's website a rebuild kit option despite this model of bike pump being discontinued several years ago - that is the sign of a quality company with quality products meant to last. This rebuild kit has given new life to my PFP-3 pump and works just as well if not better than the original parts (the pump head design is slightly improved for presta and shrader valves). This bike pump has more than paid for itself and here's hoping I get another 18 (or more) years! Thanks, Park Tool!

makes a big improvement on an old pump
Really easy to replace the old pump head and o-ring. My 30 year old pump works like new again!!

Kinda fits on a non-Park pump
I put 5 stars because my first pump-ups worked fine, and I'm not using as intended so if anything is a problem I don't want to knock Park. Also, I bought from Niagara Cycle works, they were great as usual. So I needed a replacement head for a Schwinn-brand pump. I bought this Park-brand head thinking that the sizing would be universal. Well it aint. I was able to get the conical insert into the hose, but the screw-on cap on the hose was not big enough to go onto the pump-head's threads. I was only able to push it up to the threads, and the outer diameter of the cap was flush with the threads, so there was absolutely no chance to get the inner diameter into the threads! However, getting it up there was a little squeezy and the threads inside the cap add a little pressure against the bulge in the hose where the head is inside, so that provides I think a little more tightness of the hose for sealing air pressure. So even without the screw-on cap, I was able to inflate road tires to 110psi. If it starts leaking, I will be able to secure it with a small hose clamp. I have no use for the o-ring gasket. So if you have a Park pump (or maybe some other brands have the same dimensions) you'll be fine. If you want to improvise, you may be able to get along with Schwinn or other brands. If you don't want to improvise, do some research on hose/cap/tread diameters and such)

exact match for my pump
I have an Innovations Top Dog pump and this pump head is the *exact* one for it, so Innovations was using Park parts. Actually, there's another similar pump head on Amazon but with a chrome (mini) handle and different gaskets. The original pump head on my pump has a chrome handle but that's irrelevant since black or chrome is only cosmetic. This product is the less-expensive version which is surely because it comes with a single small gasket ring instead of more gasket but I'm not replacing any plunger or other rings on my pump and I don't know which version of gasket rings the Top Dog utilizes (if any). My only disappointment is that I might not have needed the pump head. I had tried the old one on three tubes and none would take air. After putting on the new pump head, I have almost the same experience. On these particular road bike tubes, the screw in the stems could not be unscrewed very far or else no air could come in. I've never had an experience like this with more than one tube so I was dumb and didn't catch it that the tube stems were likely the problems (and not the pump head). I was repairing one tube (that was currently in service) and I grabbed a couple old, long-ago flatted tubes and tried to put air in them. In order to repair all these tubes, each had to have the stem unscrewed just the right amount to get air in - not too much and not too little. Frustrating.

perfect beto replacement
this type of not serviceable replacement head cost $5usd in every bike shop in europe, so why beto charges triple here is price gouging. this more realistically priced "park tool" head is a perfect beto replacement, it simply does not include the tube collar, but since the threading here is exactly the same, you simply use your old tube collar. my 3yo beto lost it's sphincter grip as the rubber? grommet dissolved to bits on presta valve stems after a two dozen 90psi uses. i hope this park tool version holds up longer. in case you use your a pump enough to ruin it's head often you may want to consider a pump brand with a user replaceable grommet such as SKS (germany).
