Lightweight, Easy to Assemble, and Cooks Surprisingly Well on the Water
The Magma A10-215 Marine Kettle is a fantastic grill for boaters looking for portability and performance. Right out of the box, it offered easy assembly with clear instructions and solid construction. The weight is ideal — light enough to handle easily, yet sturdy once mounted. It cooks well, with even heat distribution that handled burgers, hot dogs, and fish without issues. I was impressed by the short cook time, even in windy marine conditions. Cleanup was also straightforward — the smooth surfaces and simple design make for easy cleaning after use. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable marine grill that’s efficient, compact, and easy to maintain.

Great grill
Works great, nice size for on the boat. We got the 15" for ease of storing it, fits a decent amount of food and heats up fast. We ordered a case that holds the grill, extra propane bottles and utensils and also ordered a mount that we were able to drill into our counter top and it has a plug when it's not in use. For years we brought a cheap grill that we had to either take off the boat to set up or we would try to use it on top of the counter but it always moved around with the waves, wish we would have bought this grill years ago.

Greta grill - exactly what I was looking for.
I was looking for a grill for my boat. Needed something sturdy and easy to clean it. Bought this grille and very happy with it - grilled about a dozen of times and it exceeded my expectations: - Very sturdy (no plastic stuff or cheap materials) - Cook great (tried chicken, beef, salmon and veggies) - great temp control and coverage - Easy to clean and re-assemble (thank you!) - that was important as my boat space is limited. - I bought leg stand for it and can now take it anywhere (not just a boat) and I sometimes grill at home - Good price Cons: can't think of any. As the saying goes - you get what you pay for (in most cases) and this is def the one. Don't cheap out on other non-quality brands - go with this....

Is it all there?
It’s a nice little grill, even though I think it’s a bit pricey for such a small one. It was pretty easy to assemble, but it leaves one thinking that you might be missing a piece. There is one extra screw that does not match the other two that are used. From all the pictures I have seen online, and on the packaging, The screw goes in the center top of the lid. There are several holes in the lid that I assume is for escaping gases, heat, and smoke. When you buy a grill for your home and they have these holes, there is usually a spinning wheel you can turn in order to partially or completely close off the holes. Why would you have a screw that goes through the top of the lid in the center of these holes and not have it attached to anything. It’s just a machine screw with a nut on the inside. It seems like either something is missing or we are being caught in the middle of a redesign. No pictures anywhere show a wheel that should be attached to that screw. Nothing in the instructions and no pictures anywhere so why a screw. The screw is not in the instructions, nor is it mentioned anywhere online but I did see the screw in some pictures. It does look nice and fit very well on my boat. It was easy to install, but I must say when you’re riding down the river, it does vibrate and rattle a lot, so I need to find a way to stop that. Clearly not meant to be used while you’re on the water moving. The only real negative for this grill is that for this price it should come with a mounting kit so you don’t have to spend an additional $50 for it, and you will need it.

Well made
Came really fast, price was good. Seems well made. It seems to have better flame pattern than the springfield gas grill had.

Missing piece
The grill is good. But I’m just now noticing that the vent holes on the top are uncovered. I think the grill was missing the top vent hole cover piece, and I didn’t realize it until now. Maybe I could get that piece shipped to me???

I’ve purchased 3 of these over the years.
Because we live on a boat 7 months a year, these grills get a lot of use. I wish the burner rings lasted longer. However, I’m still happy with the performance of the grill. It’s easy to use and mounts nicely on the stern of our sailboat.

Magma Gas Grill
Problem 1. Un even flame and heat. No way of turning / adjusting grill grate because it's fixed in place so you have to constantly stab the food to move it from one hot spot to another to get to proper temperature of same sized steaks at the same time. Clean up takes allot of time, you must disassemble, clean and reassemble. what a pain. On a boat it is especially difficult because it's so messy and you can only clean it on your boats' deck. Problem 2. I purchased this thru Amazon, the retailer was WSports. When I contacted the seller WSPORTS for a return/exchange the gas grill for the old style charcoal grill which is much less expensive I was told that I was stuck with this grill because I did not keep the box it came in. They even had the gall to send me there entire return policy which does show, "needs the box for return." Because I purchased this grill to use on my boat, when I received it I assembled it at my marina, it looked good and I should not have any problem with it. (I previously had a Charcoal Magma Grill for 21 years) I didn't want to have the empty box take up space so I recycled it. In conclusion, I now have gone back to "old school" shopping at Main St. retailers who understand and appreciate there customers. I saved a whopping $12. from West Marine's price. Never again from these guys!!!
