Imperium: Legends

Probably my favorite game of 2021 (Classics and Legends). Be aware that this is not for beginners, families, or people new to these types of strategy games. The rules are simple, but the strategy is deep. There is a ton of replayability in this game and it should satisfy for years.

One of the best 1 player games I’ve played. It’s quite a commitment to learn and to play (over an hour playtime) but one of the best games I’ve played. Wouldn’t play it more than 2 players

Great game and heavier than most deckbuilding games. Solo play is excellent as well. Not that there were some printing errors though so look up the errata on BGG.

First off, skip the instruction book and watch the Gaming Rules content on how to play. The instruction books are not that good, and the Gaming Rules videos are a much better way to learn this game. Very complex and heavy deck building game but worth the time and effort. Really interesting mechanics that reflect the history and geography of the various empires. Has a really interesting solo mode. If you are expecting Dominion or Star Realms, you will be in for a shock. There is a lot going on here. It is a slow burn but worth it. Very cool that you can combine classics and legends and place different empires against each other. Great game, but its a deep dive.

It’s a very good heavy deck builder mainly for solo play. The cards were slightly bent upon arrival and may need sleeving to endure many plays due to lots of shuffling. The rulebook in horizons is more clear and available online.

Super disappointed that these cards and rules are riddled with errors, making the game unplayable unless you download a whole bunch of corrections—and what? Write them on the cards?? Totally unacceptable. Wish I had figured this out before buying.

Excellent quality cards and game play the manual is a little weak but workable with a playthrough video....

Fun game. Lots of depth. Takes a long time finish and have very little player interaction. Haven't tried solo mode

Seconda scatola di questo gioco stupendo che alza notevolmente il livello di complessità delle civiltà. Gioco stupendo sia per il solitario che per il multiplayer.

Not tried anything other than solo play but this is a great game. Make sure you watch some playthroughs on YouTube though because if you rely solely on the rulebook you might struggle.

Arrived in perfect condition and is an amazing game, quickly becoming a favorite!
