Salino 1.2 Kg - 150 Pieces - Licorice Lakritz Box - 42 Oz. Or 2.6lbs

In spite of the "salino" name not very salty but nevertheless flavorful - and soft. As somewhat who grew up on European licorice I am a repeat offender.

Oh, how I love these. I ordered this tub a few times now and it always arrived in perfect condition. There is just no better licorice in the world. You will not regret ordering these. It is fair amount for the money. Licorice is sonst, smells fantastic, and tastes even better! I put this on my subscription list now to get my bi-monthly fix 😁.

Order frequently... by far the freshest and best packaging

My personal opinion is this is the best black licorice, there are many different brands and types but this is the best hands down. I have tried a variety of flavors from Iceland, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, Austria and this is the best one. With that said, I should have read the lost recent reviews. I ordered two packages and one was smashed to pieces. For those that eat licorice, it has to be a bit soft or you will snap off a tooth. This package has been open for sometime and the pieces were as hard as rocks. 20.00 lost with no returns…..

HariboSalinos are my favorite licorice. I was happily surprised when I saw that Amazon had them for sale. Unfortunately, the box I received had an expiration date only two months away, which meant the soft, chewy goodness of the candy was not there. It was rather hard. I would not risk buying them again since they apparently don’t move fast or the importer wanted to get rid of old stock.

I have these on auto ship, I generally love them, an old childhood favorite. However, the freshness is really inconsistent. My last order was so fresh, aromatic and soft, just amazing, and the order I just received two days ago is old and haaaard to chew. Even had a paper in the box “new container design 2021”. Like it was made last year, but I suspect it was made in January of last year, they are so hard. I don’t know, I’ll still eat this pack, because I’m a licorice junkie, but I am disappointed.

I love licorice. This particular one I used to buy a lot with my hard earned allowance for 5cents a piece back then growing up in a European country. Only problem.I have with this one is that once I start I cannot stop. And the tub is gone within days. Beware that if you are used to the red vines and twizzlers black licorice kind and never had this, that this tastes a lot more salty.
