I'm glad I saved for this. It heats more evenly than my cheaper Dutch oven. No buyers remorse here!

Use it all of time; like the roominess of this larger size. Unhappy with the company that I purchased it from. Came with a chipped lid, and because I complained the company said they had considered not replacing it because I my bad review. Poor businesses practice, especially given the price. However, the actual pot is great.

Shipped on time, product was undamaged and looked as advertised. We have only used it a couple of times, thus the 4 stars. Ask me next year after it's been used a bit more & we'll either raise or lower score.

A good and expensive cooking pot. Does what it's supposed to do. A cheaper one would probably do the same.

I have never had chicken as good as I made in this the very first time I used it. Le Creuset has a recipe for roast chicken on their website and I just used that recipe. The chicken was juicy and absolutely delicious. This is just the ticket for roasting something and then making a sauce with the drippings as it goes from oven to stovetop and cooks beautifully in either setting. Even without the sauce the chicken or other thing you cook in this stays moist and delicious as the cast iron heats through evenly with the lid on and the lid keeps in the flavor and moisture. I haven't tried braising in it yet but I think it would do that very well as all of the food I have cooked in it has been absolutely excellent. Le Creuset is definitely not inexpensive but the enamel makes for an excellent surface to cook on and is really easy to clean. Even though it is very easy to clean, it may pay to soak it for a short while first if you have really burned on stuff. Other companies make enameled cast iron cookware but the enamel comes off and the fit and finish of the pieces is not as good. As you can keep these and enjoy cooking on them for the rest of your life, these are good value. The right tool makes a difference.
