These are a unique flavour. They are good, well worth a try if you have not had them before. I used them in one pot rice and risotto dishes and combined with dried porcinis. Will I buy again? Yes definitely, though they are a smidge expensive and not really an everyday flavour. They keep really well though which is a big plus these days.

As always a great product to add great flavour to savour dishes and taste to eat straight from the tub.

Really liked this. I got hooked on black garlic recently after buying a Spanish version, and I snack on a couple of cloves in passing, just to enjoy the flavour. If you've not tried black garlic, it's nothing like fresh garlic - it's somewhat like a soft gummy with a really sweet flavour that has a citrusy acidity and some deep, aromatic notes that are quite addictive. It has none of the pungency of raw garlic and little of that garlic smell. I can imagine it'd be amazing in salads (a Greek salad particularly) or as a garnish, but I'm mainly just snacking on it. This product is a good sized tub with lots of cloves, and it's packaged well. The garlic is nicely-processed and it's just clean cloves, with no papery garlic skin. It's one of those flavours that you hanker after in the middle of the night, and this product is just great. I'll be buying again.

It's weird stuff. Nothing like fresh white garlic in looks tastes texture. Each piece is a small black rubbery blob with a strange sweetness and a taste I can't identify. A taste I'm not impressed by but it's not unpleasant. I'm taking it medicinally and it seems to be working but it might be early days yet. I take a clove of normal garlic crush it leave for ten minutes then mix in a couple of spoonfuls of plain live yoghurt to help lower glucose readings but now I chew a piece of this stuff with it and my readings are coming down quicker and lower. Is it just coincidence I keep asking myself. If it carries on I'll be ordering more.

Great product

We buy this monthly on subscription. It tastes great and it’s fantastic to cook with and since my daughter started eating a clove of it daily, starting last October 2024 she hasn’t had her reoccurring throat infections, cold or any type of mucus buildup since and we are now into March 2025. My husband and I cook with it daily and I really believe it helps with keeping our immune systems strong. We looked into making our own and considering how much time and effort goes into the process I can honestly say this is excellent value for money. Thank you 🙏

Schwarzer Knoblauch wird zur Zeit ja überall tierisch beworben, da ich Knoblauch mag aber ihn selten essen kann, aufgrund häufigem Kundenkontaktes, habe ich mich entschieden das Schwarze "Wunder" zu testen. Der Knoblauch wird aus England verschickt, wurde aber nach 3 Tagen geliefert. Im Prinzip ist der Knoblauch so wie er im TV etc. beworben wird, den klassischen Knoblauchgeschmack wird man aber vermissen, ich hoffen die positiven Eigenschaften sind noch im Knoblauch enthalten. Schmecken tut er trotzdem sehr gut. Er schmeckt leicht nach Balsamico/Lakritz. Zu dosieren ist er eher umständlich, pressen geht nicht, man muss ihn schneiden. Das Schneiden ist aber auch nicht die Top Lösung, da der Knoblauch sehr ölig ist, klebt er und schmiert stark auf dem verwendeten Untergrund. Alles in allem würde ich ihn aber wieder kaufen.

Somehow assumed there would be more, but cannot regret the taste of these wonderful little “nuggets”.

The aroma is soft, not pungent smelling. It provides a near sweet taste that is a wonderful accent to veal, chicken and pork dishes that are not heavy or accentuated by power ingredients like peppers or full flavored olives and the like. You must try it to see what dishes it fits best. I will continue to buy it.
