320 - 40 Micron Foil Rolls

This is the best foil for smoking, it’s extremely thick and lasts for a long time! Highly recommend!

The thickness is 41.5 with a standard deviation of 1.4. a minimum of 39, maximum of 44. All units are micometers. The foil is nominally 40 microns (micrometers) A strip of foil was measured across the width without first tearing it off the roll. 16 measurements were made across the width at even intervals. The measurements were made with a centimeter of clearance to the tear line where dispensed foil had been separated from the roll. If you are depending on a minimum thickness, I would use 38. If you are relying on the thickness of a particular piece, you should measure it. I use 1 cm squares so I measured each square. The finish on the foil is uniform: bright and burnished looking on one side and mat on the opposite side. This is consistent with the ordinary practice of finish rolling foil back to back.
