We have been using Moringa Powder for it’s many benefits for quite a while, but were interested in getting the different benefits that the Oil provides. Moringa Oil has a lot of uses for supporting health. We have also been using Madre Nature’s Black Seed Oil for about 8 months with amazing results, so when we saw that Madre also had an organic cold-pressed Moringa Oil we wanted to try this one too. We like that this Moringa Oil is food-grade, organic, and cold-pressed (like their Black Seed Oil), because we wanted to not only use it externally, but internally too. Although the external benefits alone are enough to warrant using Moringa Oil (overall skin health, dry skin, scar reduction, wound healing, burns, sunburn, scraps, bruises, bites, stings, rashes, cracked heels, hair conditioner, moisture retention, anti-aging, acne, eczema, psoriasis, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, antioxidant protection, anti-inflammatory, helping cellular regeneration, anti-aging, edema, arthritis/joint pain & swelling), we also wanted to be able to use the same product for the internal benefits. So this one fit the bill. Typically we avoid using oils in plastic containers since oils cause plastics to expand, and then leach dioxins and endocrine-disrupting chemicals into the oil. Some plastics expand and leach worse than others. These chemicals are carcinogenic, damaging to the immune system, and really mess up your hormones, so we were glad to see this oil packaged properly in a dark glass bottle (and with an eye dropper for convenience). Unlike most vegetable oils, because of the high antioxidant levels in Moringa Oil, it’s very self-stable, so it doesn’t go rancid easily. Moringa Oil is even used to keep other foods better preserved. You can cook with Moringa, or use it as an oil in salad dressing; but we don’t use it that way since it would be too expensive. We instead prefer to use it as a supplement and for topical use. This Moringa Oil has a nice nutty flavor. SInce a few of the oil’s properties include anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal - we consider that taking it even for no specific health issue is actually a smart idea for preventative health. That’s a lot of broad spectrum bases that are being covered there in one oil. We also like using the oil as a carrier oil for essentials oils. Controlling the inflammatory response is one of the most important benefits to us for overall health, since inflammation is known to be the precursor of most all disease. As people get older, over-inflaming becomes more of a problem, and that’s one of the big reasons why people start getting more health problems with age. Inflammatory conditions include cardiovascular disease, diabetes, arthritis, Alzheimer’s, among many other conditions. Not saying that an oil will cure any of these conditions; but by using phyto-nutrients which help control the inflammatory response, we are helping our bodies cope with aging, stress, and the wear & tear of daily living. It just makes sense. When you add the antioxidant, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties to the anti-inflammatory benefits, it’s well into the superfood category. (Moringa Oil is not recommended for women who are pregnant, nor for women trying to get pregnant.) When we researched a little online we found some of the other things that people use Moringa Oil internally for include stomach ulcers, constipation, diarrhea, deworming, improved bowel movements, anti-microbial, gum health, asthma, cough, blood sugar, calming, liver protective, vascular protective, eye health, heart health, urinary tract infections, fluid retention, edema, boosting immunity, kidney stones, detoxing, and even water purification. We weren’t too surprized to find so many uses, especially since the 4 basic known properties of the oil mentioned above would make some of these other benefits expected anyway. By us combining all the benefits of Moringa Oil along with Black Seed Oil, that’s a lot of healthy support. We’re glad we found these organic oils!

Love the product and helps my skin especially my Face feels smoother and lessen wrinkles

I have used this oil daily for three weeks and really like it. If you can imagine, the oil has a fragrance which reminds me of crushed dark green leaves. But, the fragrance doesn't last a long time before there is no odor at all. It's definately an oil but it's light and absorbs pretty quickly. I originally wanted to try it for an allergy type condition in my ear and it is working very well. I apply a tiny amount to my outer ear with a q-tip twice a day. It takes the itch out as it calms the skin so it can heal. It's the first time in several years that something has actually helped me. Because of the great results in my ear I decided to use it on my arms, legs, hands and face. When I put it on my face I apply a very small amount of a natural moisturizer to seal it in and my face feels wonderful without being greasy. It's just plain wonderful for dry skin. Besides all the benifits I mentioned I have to say it just feels good to use a product that is pure, natural and so healthy. I honestly don't think I'll ever go without it! I purchased this oil June 26th, learned it has many health benefits but really loved the moisturizing effects more than any natural product I've ever used. I use it on my scalp, in my hair, on lips, hands, wherever my skin feels dry. It absorbs quickly so I don't have to sit there waiting for it to absorb like I did with coconut oil. I decided to try taking internally today and that's when I realized it has a slightly rancid taste. This might be my fault, as, for a couple weeks it was stored in a warm, humid environment. Then I started storing it in a cool, dry place but I've had it 6 weeks now so I don't know if it came this way or turned since purchasing June 26th. I looked for an expiration date but there is none. I thought one was required by law.

I've been using this oil for a long time and it's a very good facial oil.
