Good grip, well made, works well.
Easy to punch through drywall with the tip and then cuts without issue. Handle is comfortable and the knife is well made.

Good quality steel
Again, I'll say good quality steel. Didn't see any pitting or lamination in. It wasn't flimsy. It worked perfect on cutting a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom without any issues without the blade bending or breaking. It worked great, very sharp point

This drywall saw is the PERFECT tool for carving a pumpkin. If you look at Halloween carving tools invariably you'll see a drywall saw at triple the price. This is a good one with a nice grip and a sturdy blade. I don't install drywall so I can't say how well it does what it's designed to do, but it can't be beat for pumpkins.

Looking forward to cutting some sheetrock
I needed to replace my smallest keyhole saw for drywall. It has been bent too many times over the decades of use and deserved retirement. I found this innovative design from Irwin and decided to give it a try. It only takes one look at the tooth design to know this is going to be a winner. It is has two distinct rows of teeth so it can cut more smoothly and in both directions. I am truly impressed with the the design thought that went into this tool. Drywall remains one of the trickier materials to cut merely because it wants to crumble. One direction saws add to the problem by cutting one way and just dragging the other. This saw cuts while it is moving without return drag. Not only will it make the sawing process less damaging, but faster too. Like a ratcheting bi movement screwdriver there is no wasted movement. I have put it in the tool bucket but not used it yet, but that day is coming and I have no doubts it will perform--if not I will return and edit my review...not likely though.

Cuts drywall easily
I had a more expensive Stanley drywall saw that I killed scraping grout out between floor tiles. I needed to replace it, I'm doing some projects that requires cutting drywall. This saw looks the same and costs 2/3 of the other, so I am giving it a go. It looks the same, you can punch a starter hole with it, and cut drywall as needed. I'll see how it holds up over time, I am pleased with it and the savings for now.

For context, we used these for this year’s pumpkin carving for Halloween. These worked perfect! The blade felt sturdy to the handle, nothing felt loose, was easy to handle, and perfect for precise angles and cuts. Blade cut very sharp, and felt safe enough to use. In terms of pumpkin carving, we were finished hours ahead of our normal time, even with the same amount of pumpkins that we had to carve as every other year.
