Birkenstock Professional Men's Super Birki-Clog Footbed Flat

I have no idea what this insole was designed for, but they work great provided you do some trimming. I have added these to three pairs of shoes, even cowboy boots. I chose these over the blue insoles by birkenstock because they are cheaper and they do not have foam. Foam, from my experience goes flat after only a few weeks, so these are better without it. The pictures are deceiving in that it looks like the toe end is 3/8" thick. They are actually just about 1/8" thick at the toes, so they fit in my shoes, height wise, no problem. What you see in the picture is a dish or lip that goes all the way around. I had to trim that off on all of mine, along with some of the area on the outside of the toes. I used my old insoles to trace their shape, and cut them with a box cutter. On the cowboy boots I chamfered the bottom edge 1/4" all the way around. These require a day or so to break in but after that they mold to your feet and feel fantastic. Plenty of arch support and no more heel pain.

I bought these for my son who is 37yrs with a size 14-15 wide foot. He is mentally disabled, and unable to tell me whether these inserts work and help his feet. He is totally flat footed and since his foot size is so big, it's very difficult to find shoes/inserts that help. I have always been told that Birkenstock is a very good brand of shoe, so I decided to try these. Since he doesn't walk like he has any discomfort, then I'm pretty much sure that they are doing what they described. I bought him new sneakers for Christmas and they were a bit long, so these inserts made them fit tighter, which is of course good in his case. I have yet to try them in any other shoe, but I feel confident that they will work just fine.

This is a great insole, extremely comfortable. Although this is made by Birkenstock it is not the exact same insole that is on the shoes. The insoles have a high arch, but the traditional Birkenstock’s have a little higher. My only caution is that they are thick, so the shoes or boots that you are placing these in will need to have some extra room in there. After some light trimming with a razor I placed mine in a pair of steel toed boots that I walk in all day. I’ve had them in about 3 months so far and there is zero signs of wear. Highly recommend

It's pretty wide so I'd recommend this for anyone placing it in a berkinstock kitchen cloggs. I used it in my sketchers kitchen work shoes and it fit but it took some work to get it in there. It took about a month for my feet to fully get adjusted to it but now it feels amazing. I was getting plantiers flacionitis (however you spell it) from standing to long in a commercial kitchen. My feel were killing my but with these inserts, my pain has been reduced by 3/4 and I feel like it's just going to get better

Years ago I had to throw out my liners to my garden clogs and that made them difficult to use, so I kept them but didn't use them. Recently, I had a need for such shoes again and without the liner they were a misery to wear. I paid the rather high price for these liners for men's shoes even though mine are a woman's 40. They arrived in a timely fashion and they fit perfectly in my decades old Birkie clogs. My clogs are usable again and comfortable enough to be worn for walks.

Had such a birki (BNirkenstock) cork insert (for several years - since the late 90s actually!) just sitting unused in my nightstand drawer. Bought it in Germany at the birki factory. Leather top and model says "Footprint". Planned on using it if I ever had to overhaul my birki sandals....which I did a couple of times now but by sending to s specialty overhaul provider. (Expensive - ouch! But the birki sandals had a woven leather top that went all the way to the heel - a classy model that they no longer make.) Anyway, I never used the insert....and recently I got a wild hair and bought a pair of Hush Puppies Ashton Barlow slip-ons and pulled the (hush puppy) insert out and stuffed in the birki insert (a size 46 insert onto the size 13 shoe - tight fit)! But, what a GREAT, COMFORTABLE house shoe! Anyway after a couple of months and my beginning to use the 'house shoes' outside...and the cloth Ashton Barlows being made with a cloth upper, they began to look a bit worn. These were comfortable enough I just decided to buy another pair of size 13 Ashton Barlows and another insert...since I saw these birtki inserts on Amazon. Well - here's the review - these inserts by birki are also cork, but NOT with a leather top. The top surface is a black cloth material. AND the contour is pretty 'squared-off' not smoothly rounded or sculpted. And that means it's NOT very comfortable. Thus the loss of a couple of stars for cheaper upper surface and initial discomfort. I will wear (slowly to break in), and I suspect that the contour will break in to my feet eventually and it will end up OK - for probably as long as the (pretty cheap) Hush Puppies last. (And, BTW, I decided that these will not serve as a replacement insert for the birki sandals that I have...well, not for my model anyway.) UPDATE: Sharp, squared-off upper surface never did "break in." Black cloth top surface broke down after a month or two of wear, and I just threw the new birki liner and Hush Puppies away. (I have since replaced the Hush Puppies for the original (bought in Germany many years ago, leather-top surface liner) and still think this is the MOST COMFORTABLE slip on shoe I've ever had...thought h3e Hush Puppies (tan color) need to be washed/cleaned every month or so and replaced after about 4+ months of use - cheap shoes, but with the original birki liner, as I said, very comfortable!

Instead of buying new clogs for work, I replace these. The clogs are so well built and last a long time. Sadly their insoles do not. So, this works perfectly!! Highly recommend!

Its nice to get these quality replacements for my Birki Clogs..Perfect Fit...Super Fast Shipping..Excellent Value..no need to dive into the city searching for stores that might have them..Amazon has them..Should last at least 3years..My feet, my back truly benefit from these wonderful cork beds..5 stars!!!Fantastic!

The footbed was patchy, and the black top layer provided inadequate coverage. The cork was crumbling and showing through in large areas. It was in worse shape than the old one I was replacing! I will never order this through Amazon again. I am calling Birkenstock to see if I can get it from them. I don't understand why I don't get a full refund! $10 that I have to pay?
