Heavenly strings
I bought these strings because I wanted to test out different setups to find my personal preference and find something that I enjoy to hit with. A friend recommended me to these strings and they do not disappoint. These are my top 3 strings all time and allow me to hit at a high level and last for a great deal of time. The spin potential and durability are amazing. However, the strings to feel somewhat muted on my setup, but thay could also be a mixture of my racket and tension. I would recommend anyone to try these strings out!

Fantastic strings
These strings last a while and perform well, especially for the price! I won’t use any other strings. Caveat: I’m a 3.5-4.0 rated tennis player so this works well for my level.

Love the 18g Version
Really like this string, great spin, nice feel, and comfortable. It plays crisp without being too stiff. One of my favorites so far

Very happy with these strings, closest poly you'll find to the feel of gut.
(Review from the husband) First, about my play-style. I'm a taller, harder hitting player and I spend a majority of the match on the baseline. I've never had a problem generating power, but was looking for a little more spin and control on my shots. I've played with gut strings a few times in the past and liked it, but durability was a problem and I'm too busy to keep getting my racket strung, so I typically play poly. After some research, I decided to buy these strings and I've been very happy with the results. The strings are pretty soft, and you'll instantly notice how much more top-spin you're able to generate. I've really enjoyed the extra spin I get on my shots now, and these poly strings are the closest you'll get to the feeling of gut strings. The one drawback I've noticed is that I have lost a little power on my shots. I've now been swinging a little harder to recoup some of my lost speed, but you'll have confidence swinging harder because of the extra top spin. Would definitely recommend these strings to fellow tennis players, and I hope this review helps.

Great overall poly, good spin and control
Really like this string, with one minor ding that I'll get to. For reference, I have this in a Wilson Pro Staff 97CV, strung at 48lb mains/46lb crosses. As a former tennis elbow sufferer, was hesitant to go full-bed poly again, but this string and tension is marvelous. Very soft, and excellent spin. I can swing out and get a nasty drop-in near the baseline. My one-handed backhand especially benefits from this. Serves also benefit from the spin. Slice and kick are really spinny, although flat serves take a little more effort due to the low power. Flattening shots is a little more difficult, as well as defensive shots on the run. I like to flick the racket almost like a squash shot, and have trouble getting any pace/depth on these defensive shots with this string. I'm trying Tier One Firewire Boost in my other Pro Staff (see my review on it for a similar comparison), which in a nutshell has more overall power (for me) but a little less spin and control. Hyper-G pros: spin, control, comfort, serve spin Firewire Boost pros: easier power, flatter groundstroke, flat serves, crisper but still comfortable at 52/48 Both are very good string combos, so it's they're basically in a playoff to earn the rights to stay in the Pro Staffs. I may actually stick with both and use Hyper-G for singles and Firewire Boost for doubles. Hope this helps,

Good strings
Amazing strings that last a long time. Helps generate topspin and just a good feel. Good price too.

I've been converted to the Hyper-G Cult
Where can I begin with this string? I got the 17 Gauge at 50 lbs - Here's how it went: 1. The first 60 minutes of using this string, coming from a Babolat RPM I immediately thought "This is the biggest mistake I've ever made. JESUS are these strings STIFF and hard on the arm! I thought my shoulder was going to fall off after playing with this. First string that gave me such intense pain after playing. The spin was so intense that a lot of my shots were getting caught by the net, I had to adjust my swing path to make this string reach the opponent's baseline. It's very low powered and had to muscle through the ball to get some depth. 2. Three days after using it for the first time, I noticed the strings felt a lot better, softer and gripped the ball a lot better. My shots got faster, with increased control and direction. 3. Two days after that, I'm in love with these strings. I got the hang of it and now my slice serve is an actual weapon. The balls are curving and landing hard, cutting quickly to the sides, my opponents are really having a hard time returning that serve. After the first use, I almost ripped them off my racket to go back to the RPM's... but now that they settled in, these might just be the best strings I've ever used. Let's see how long they hold before needing a replacement.

This string is a game changer! Strung at 48 lb on an oversize 115 sq in racquet, got powerful and heavy top spin and slice. I have more confidence taking big cut at the ball and keeping balls in court. My serve has more spin and second serve is more consistent. The sound of ball impacting the string is loud and satisfying. I love this strings. Highly recommend this string for advanced player 4.0 and above.
