Work great for saving glasses when falling in while Paddleboarding. It’s a bit bulky so not a fashion moment but it does what it is supposed to do.

I spend winters in Mexico, and am in and on the water (stand up paddle boarder) multiple times a day. I also don’t see that well without my prescription sunglasses! Bought this strap (got the orange, wasn’t thrilled about it, but it was the best price), tested it with my Maui Jim prescription sunglasses to ensure it floated, and have been using it (and a black one I bought previously) for several years. If I tighten the strap it usually keeps my glasses on my face, despite tumbles in the surf. Today, however, I got hit by a BIG wave…lost my Tilley hat and my glasses. Was able to recover the Tilley hat, but could not see the glasses in the pounding surf. Spread the word I’d lost them, and about an hour later they were found by someone walking the beach…still fully attached to the arms of my glasses, and my glasses were in perfect shape. Thank you, Chums! My partner has had his glasses come off when he’s been tumbled, and the bright orange strap made them very easy to see and recover. We just ordered a “spare” pair, just in case we lose ours, or have guests who need to borrow one.
