once the phone screen is clean, just putting a few drops at a time and buffing it in takes no time, and it dry's very fast. i put on like 5 coats in about 10 min or less and it makes a difference. yes my screen still gets fingerprints but now it looks like a fingerprint and not just a big smudge of finger oil, and its easier to clean off. 10/10 will buy again, just so you know this is real rubber baby buggy bumpers

While it is true that I will for a very short time make your glass screen feel more slick it does absolutely nothing to either remove or repel new fingerprints or oil from being on the glass. Don’t waste your money on this product.

I applied 3 coats to my phone's camera lens (Pixel 6a lens protector) which did not come with any coating from the factory. It was rather hard to put on as the liquid is very thin and has almost no surface tension, and there is no real applicator that'd allow you to put on controlled drops. You basically pour it out and hope for the best. The camera lens sits below the surface of my phone's case, so it's not exposed to much wear. Still, the majority of the coating came off in a couple days and it only remains in the centre. It worked wonderfully when it was on, but it came off so quick that I can't recommend you buy it for anything that's going to experience much wear. It'll work great for things that you don't intend to touch, it will help you prevent accidental smudges on things like a real camera lens, but it's not suitable for something like a phone that's rubbing in your pocket all day.

The coating kit was simple to apply, and the results were noticeable. The surface feels much smoother, and fingerprints are less visible now. The included tools made the process easier. However, it would be great if there were clearer instructions for beginners.

5 stars. I have a 4.5 year old phone with many deep scratches at the edges. I cleaned the phone and followed the instructions and nearly 3 weeks later I still feel the oleophobic coating is working well. I have cleaned the screen with water and a cleaning product several times and the phone still has a smoothness similar to when it was new. Regarding the ability to hide scratches- that is also not bad. The tiny hairline scratches are still hidden nearly 3 weeks later. The medium scratches initially looked better but became noticeable once I cleaned the screen with a cleaner and wiped it down a few times. I used between 1/4 to 1/3 of the liquid to coat my phone and watch so I should be able to use this for several months to a year. For the money, this is a good temporary fix. I will not replace the screen on a 4.5 year old phone but I am wanting to maximize the use I get out of this phone so I'm not wanting to buy a new phone yet either. This product works for my needs.

Did they change the formula? I've used this product for years but the product I received today did nothing. My screen feels the same as before. There wasn't even a tiny bit of haze once applied... something seems off. I hate to switch brands but I think I need to. :(

OLEOPEL doesn't promise to eliminate prints but only offers to reduce prints and smudges. I applied the coating to three screens and waited overnight. I was amazed at the success. No prints or smudges. I was slightly disappointed at the end of the day when disappearance became reduction. I was extremely frustrated on the second day when the screens regressed to their terrible print exposure from before the coating. I know the coating will wear off over time, but two days?! It's a bet ordering an item with 24% one-star ratings. I lost.

Worked great on polycarbonate glasses. Less fingerprints and smudges for sure.

I applied this stuff to a tempered glass screen protector x3 (allowing it to cure for 8 hours between applications). The Resistance to fingerprint oils and smudges was amazing for the first few hours of the day.. and then noticeably decreased. Cleaning the screen, however, remains much improved

Not the easiest or cheapest solution to protect the screen but it does work. Makes it easier to keep clean with smearing easier to remove etc. obviously doesn’t last like the original coating and will need to be replaced again. Keep in mind that’s it’s better value for smaller screens as it’s more than one use whereas on larger screen tablets it’s single use realistically. Hence only 4 stars.

I followed the instructions to a tee and even extended the curing time for 2 hours and...nothing. No effect. I reapplied it once and you can barely feel the oleophobic coating. By the time I attempt to reapply it AGAIN, there's nothing left. The vial was so tiny and there's not enough of the solution to cover 3 applications. Mind you the 1st application only had 6 drops. 2 at the top, 2 at the bottom, and 2 in the center. Same for the 2nd attempt. Just a waste of time and money.

simple application but you have to be quick as it cures pretty quickly
