Great hiking pole
Great hiking poles, easy to assemble once you know how. They fold up small enough to put in travel case or attach to my backpack. I have only used them up to 600m but found them sturdy and reliable to take my weight when climbing down steep rocks and uneven ground. I'm 5'5" and they are a good length for me. They are lovely and light, comfortable on the hands and lock securely as long as you follow the instructions.

Excellent walking poles
Excellent walking pole, very easy to adjust the length and I like how the measurements are marked on the pole so you can quickly set it at the height you require after breaking down to put in your luggage. The storage bag supplied is also very handy. Seem to be giving me a sturdy support and are a nice weight.Handles are comfortable and the hand straps are easy to adjust.Nearly purchased a cheaper set of poles I was looking at, but after reading some of the reviews on these poles I decided to purchase these.Would definitely recommend.

Excellent and easy, tricky hand straps though
Love these! Super easy to use and dependable. I took them right on an 11 day trek through the Alps and they were awesome. The only thing is that the wrist strap constantly loosens so you have to jam it up or tie it off a few times a day.

Woweeeee!!
They are just perfect ..me being 70+ they keep me balanced on long walks ..usually do around 3 hours 3/4 times a week. Sometimes terrain is a bit yukky.. And they keep my posture to how it should be ..easy to assemble and fold away very sturdy .great price and are accompanied by perfect accessories so it's a 5 /10 stars from me .. they also have a little bag to put them in (folded) for when you are planning walking on your holidays abroad .. The sturdiness is very good and I trust them ... So here's to happy hiking with confidence.. I would definitely recommend to anyone ....

I'm VERY impressed with these.
I bought these to replace a pair that I bought in a charity shop. They were fine, but had a twist-lock that (i) wasn't very secure and (ii) was sometimes the devil's own job to release. There are lightweight and have a very positive lock. The lock is also very easy to release. That means they're either (i) locked solid and therefore safe to put your full weight on if needs be or (ii) unlocked for folding. They are very quick and easy to both deploy and fold down. In use, they feel very comfortable and certainly do make walking a bit easier and quicker. The conventional wisdom is that you can use Nordic walking poles for trekking, but not trekking poles for Nordic walking. These are trekking poles. I have no idea what the difference between the two walking styles is and (being indifferent to organised walking groups) have no interest in finding out. (I'm a grumpy old bugger and don't want to be bored to death by retired primary headteachers or social workers.) But what I can say, is that these are an excellent walking aid when travelling the footpaths and hilly areas of Britain. There are four points to bear in mind: 1 - when off-road, remove the rubber tip and use the metal end for much better grip. 2 - take very great care to make sure that the stick is well behind your foot or you'll almost certainly trip yourself up. 3 - watch a few YouTube instructional videos and learn how to use the poles properly and safely. It will take you a few hours to become fully used to them. 4 - and this is VERY important ... grip the poles as advised. If you do it right, you can use your hands to arrest a fall in safety; do it wrong and you can guarantee a dislocated or broken thumb if you fall. A word of warning about which length you buy: take the recommended measurements seriously. I'm a tad shorter than recommended for the longer ones, but I bought them anyway. Don't make the same mistake! These are just about comfortable for me on their very shortest length. If you are less than 5' 6", get the shorter ones.

For the money, brilliant.
Telescopic poles collapsing on you when coming down a mountain? Carbon fibre ones shattering? Not good when you got 100 litres on your back. These maybe a few grams heavier, but the construction is key. The sections "butt" against each other, which means they cannot collapse on you which is brilliant. Aluminium, so they're not gonna shatter. The only concern is to make certain the clamp is properly tightened..... easy done! Grips feel like cork. Though cork is easily dented and damaged. Too many people scream about cork but the FACT is, with today's technology, there is no difference whatsoever (do the research). In terms of abuse and longevity, they will outlast cork. They actually feel warm to grip and feel just like cork too. Very small and compact. I carry a fair bit weight, I'm not one of these lightweights (if your a grams freak them look elsewhere). I wanted something reliable to put full body weight on while carrying a fully laden 100litre Sabre Bergen coming up and down mountains in the Lake District. These poles I trust. They won't shatter or collapse on me, the few extra grams is irrelevant compared to my safety. They are very compact and sturdy and what I consider to be light considering my load. I'm 5'7" and 14 stone and bought the shorter ones. I'm glad I did. I nearly bought the longer ones but consider climbing upward and down. Altering the length is at the top only. I would say if your over 5'10 get the bigger ones. Below the shorter is perfect. For thirty quid these are an absolute gift. Trekology really got this one nailed. Funny how you can have these for thirty pounds yet it's twenty pounds for their pillow. Go figure!! I'd say grab em before they're gone!! Well worth it. £100+ for poles is ridiculous and unnecessary.

Produit de bonne qualité. Je ne les ai pas encore testés lors de nombreuses randonnées, mais ils sont faciles à régler et j'espère qu'ils dureront longtemps.

I am in my late 70s, 4’11” , minimal weight and still active and want to travel to areas that have uneven terrain and challenging activities. I needed a better pole than the budget ones I have had for years that were heavy and didn’t fold up and pack well. I also had a recent increase in arthritis pain in one knee only. Fortunately, it was not requiring surgery . Working closely with my Orthopedic Dr. and a rehabilitation specialist I came to seek out wonderful information on how to adjust and use poles properly to stay out of pain !!!!!!!! while hiking and walking . I am a person who doesn’t want to take pain meds . I can , but would prefer not to. I am currently receiving injections but it is not certain if it will help . In the meantime, not wanting to stop traveling or being active , I did a great deal of research , watched videos and purchased these “Trekology Z hiking poles.” They are lightweight, very packable and extremely comfortable and easy to use. For me, they are a ultimate lifesaver! well made and fit my budget, activities , lifestyle and minimalist packing goals. They are extremely well made and sturdy. Thank you Trekology for recognizing there are seniors who are still active! Update Did some serious trekking on lava rock paths while in Galapagos, wow , This did not fail to impress. packed well, no security problems and I was really pleased.
