Made Family packing so much easier
I recently bought this set of packing cubes for a short family trip, and I’m so glad I did! Our airline only allowed two checked bags for the four of us, which made packing a challenge, but these cubes were a lifesaver. They helped us stay organized by separating each person’s clothes, which made unpacking and finding things so much easier. The quality is impressive—lightweight yet sturdy, and the zippers held up well even when the cubes were packed full. This set is definitely a great value for the price and perfect for frequent travelers who want to keep things neat without overspending. Highly recommend for families or anyone trying to maximize suitcase space!

Very Nice!
Update: I used these on an 8 day vacation. I don't unpack into the dresser, I only hang the items that need some de-wrinkle time. I leave most things in my suitcase, so I'm in and out of the bags quite a bit. The zippers are still holding up and they slide very nicely. A HUGE plus I accidentally found out. A friend gave me a homemade bottle of meat marinade, which I packed in between some clothes in one of the bags for cushioning. It was in a zip lock bag, but for some reason things didn't hold and some of the liquid leaked out of both the bottle and the zip lock. I knew it as soon as I opened my suitcase as home, I could smell it. The packing cubes are not waterproof, but they must be somewhat water resistant because I only had the liquid in that bag. It was on the inside of the bag and hadn't leaked to the outside. Today I was cleaning up and it's clear it did not leak through to the outside. I'm using a rag with some water and dishwashing soap and the packing cube is not getting wet on the outside, only inside where I'm wiping. If you should have an unfortunate accident like mine, or have some damp clothes, or whatever, these bags seem to be a major mess saver! I'm totally sold! I had another brand of packing cubes and just started using them on my last vacation. Oh how I wish I'd known of packing cubes years ago! I suspect there are many reasons for packing cubes, individual to each of us. For me, it starts with I put my stuff where I put it and when I arrive at my destination it's still where I put it. The cubes keep your things from slipping and sliding all over. Sort of on the same vein, TSA won't sort through each bag, so your stuff is still where you put it when you arrive - I get really frustrated when I arrive and it looks like they dumped my suitcase on the tarmac and just scopped it all back up and tossed it in. People say you can get more in your suitcase and I would say that is probably true, I did end up with more room left. For me this was not necessarily an advantage, you still have that 50lb limit for checked bags if flying, so don't let yourself go crazy! Now to these specifically. My others were a very lightweight fabric, what you'd call "parachute material" I guess. It was a large set and had two each of varying colors. Not bad, I liked it. Until I found these. I'm a totally "matchy" kind of person and these all match and they match most any luggage color I would think to buy, so they'll last through all the suitcases TSA destroys and I have to replace. I thought the others had the advantage of "I had xxx item in xxx color". Yeah, that didn't work. Once I got to my destination I didn't remember color, I remembered size of bag. Sort of. Basically, I didn't remember what was where, so packing cubes are sort of a disadvantage for me in that regard...big deal, just unzip them. If you have a family and you want to give each person a color to pack in one bag, that might work but some of the colors/bags in that other set were very small so not with that particular set. I really like these, the colors are bright and cute. I ordered two different sets of these so I have the equivalent of the same bags as my other set. Depending on what I'm packing I want the options. These are a much heavier fabric, the two sets together weigh two pounds and when flying pounds matter. It's the only drawback I would comment on, my others were so lightweight. However, I can't see myself using all these at any one time though, so I'm not taking off stars or really viewing it as a negative. The other set is the same color. The other set has a laundry bag, I'll note it here in case you are looking. Some commented it wasn't very big and they didn't know what they'd do with it. I have always taken a plastic grocery sack for dirty clothes. Personally, I don't put all my dirty clothes in a laundry bag, just socks, undergarments, etc. The laundry bag is plenty big, it's bigger than a plastic grocery bag. The other sort of odd shaped zippered bag in that set, I didn't really know what it would be like, I think I will use it for shoes. I think it is bigger than it looked in the photos. Overall, though I haven't used them yet, my impression of these is great. The colors are bright. The fabric is a bit heavier than some, but not what I'd call bulky at all. The zippers work very well, I tried them all. I do not have the impression they will tear...any of them will if you overstuff them, just be respectful of the product. As to which set/s to buy, it would be personal preference, what you take on a vacation. The size variety is good, obviously better if you purchase the two sets. Purchasing the two sets was the same price as my one larger set and I found that to be a perfect combination of sizes.

Why didn't I use these sooner?
I wish I took a picture of the clothes when it was packed in these cubes, however I was able to fit a crazy amount of stuff in these. I know there's the debate of how much can fit in a suitcase without the cubes Vs. how much can fit in cubes. I'm telling you, it's pretty much the same amount either way you choose. However, these cubes make it so that all you need to do is fill them up, then drop them right into your suitcase without really thinking of where or how to fit them in there. They are sized perfectly to fit into your standard size carry-on or your standard size check-in suitcase. It was like a puzzle. Our luggage traveled across the entire US with one layover, and the cubes kept their positions in the suitcases! We all know what suitcases look like at the end of a trip when you pack clothes directly into the suitcase without using packing cubes. These cubes are awesome! Everything stayed organized exactly the way I packed them. The hotel we stayed in had very little drawer space. Thank goodness for these cubes! We left most of our things in the cubes, and just put the cubes on shelf space. If we didn't have these cubes, we'd be living out of our suitcases because there was nowhere to put our loose items due to lack of storage in the hotel room. And even though our stuff was still in the cubes, access to our stuff was easier than digging around in a suitcase. This helped free up space in our hotel room because we were able to get the suitcases out of the way by storing them in the closet. The value of this set is unbeatable. You're getting 2 sets of each size, which was great! My daughter and I shared one color, and I bought a second color for my boys to share. So figuring out whose cube was whose on the shelf was not a problem at all. I truly love these cubes! The amount you get, and the quality for the price is more than worth it. And the organization, and neatness makes traveling so much easier and stress free. I can't express enough how much these cubes have made travel life easier for me and my family. I just wish I gave into packing cubes sooner. One thing that I will complain about is the amount of color and pattern choices there are now compared to when I bought my cubes! No, I'm kidding, that's not a complaint at all. I'm happy with this purchase. I totally recommend it, and if I ever need more cubes, I'll be back to buy this brand again. Hopefully the same deal of 6 pieces will still be available.

Pros and Cons
Two week trip through Europe: Copenhagen, 7 day Norway Cruise, London, Paris. I used two small cubes for my carry on; and a large cube, and two mediums for my suitcase. The remaining large cube would not fit in either. I had no problems with zippers or smells. Since returning from Europe, I have also used the smaller two cubes in a backpack to travel to two work conferences. PROS: -I was able to keep my PJs in a small cube and "clean" from the rest of my clothes. -Easily fit all my socks and underwear in a small cube of their own. -Really liked that I could take cubes out and place on cruise closet shelves without unpacking everything. -I packed the remaining large cube and ended up using it to store my souvenir candy we would pick up at grocery stores. I rolled up the cube and stuffed it in an empty spot. CONS: -Found the larges were too large for travel. I would have preferred 3-4 medium and 3-4 small cubes instead. -Overall, was not a fan of the soft sides. -I did not gain as much room as I was hoping by rolling my clothes and using the cubes. Rather the organization was the key here. Looking back, I would have purchased some vacuum bags to use (as my fiance did) during travel and used a cube or two to help organize those during travel and loose clothing while at my destination. We both decided after this trip to go with smaller suitcases and I can't see these cubes helping that goal. - The cubes organized things, but I had lots of empty space in the bottom of my suitcase where the bars laid. I felt stuffing them with loose items defeated the purpose of having cubes. - I found the smaller cubes a great size for in my carry-on/backpack....buuuuut they also took up a lot of bulk room by being solid items. The cubes allowed me to be able to take them out, which came in handy while going through TSA and on the plane but I also found that I was able to pack way less than I normally would without them.

Nice set of regular packing cubes at a great price
I like this 6-pc set of Bagail regular packing cubes and bought a set for a gift. These are very similar to the packing cubes I've used for years that are now almost impossible to find. The pale beige color is pretty and they have the features that are important to me. The quality seems about like other cubes and they are lightweight. Hand or machine wash on gentle cycle and only air dry. The zippers work fine so far and they each have a little carry handle. Offered in a variety of colors. What I especially like about these: *The zippers zip all around allowing the lid to be fully opened back for easy packing and retrieval of items. (Strangely, some other fancier brands only partially zip open on only two sides, not four, making them difficult and annoying to use. That's a deal breaker for me when so many others open fully like these.) *These have some mesh on the tops which allows you to see the contents without opening the cube. *The 6-pc set offers a good variety of only packing cubes, with no extra, less useful items. It has two large or xl cubes, two medium size cubes (my most often used size), and two smaller slim shaped cubes that aren't too small. All are useful, and not every brand offers the slim cubes. *The cubes in this set are generously sized, slightly larger than the equivalent (large, medium, etc) sizes in some other brands. *The price is excellent, especially for the set you get. What some people might prefer to be different: *There is no second compression zipper to allow the option of using them as compression cubes. (But see below. This isn't an issue for me.) *The mesh is black and not as fine as some mesh. This seems to maybe (?) reduce the visibility of the contents a little bit, but it might just be my vision, which isn't the best. I'm a big fan of packing cubes in general (they really do help a LOT in several ways) and I prefer the regular non-compression ones because each cube can be completely filled and holds more that way. The zipped lid compresses things enough when they are full. Re compression cubes: To compress them any further using the second zipper, they must be only partially filled, which defeats the purpose (unless you don't have enough items to need to completely fill the cube). Things can only be compressed a limited amount either way. Of course if you don't need to completely fill your cubes, they're better for that, as long as the other features are good. (But I fill mine up completely!) And if they are well designed (not all are) you can also just use them as regular packing cubes, fill them firmly and completely, and ignore the second zipper. Many people like compression cubes more than I do. I looked at many sets before ordering these and one more kind (6-pc Bagsmart compression cubes) for gifts, both of which I like for different reasons. This is a useful set of regular packing cubes and an excellent value.

Excellent choice for bargain packing cubes
If you are considering these Bagail packing cubes then you are likely looking for a value-priced alternative to the popular cubes from places like Eagle Creek and Osprey. You're probably also trying to decide whether these are better than the million other bargain cube set options on Amazon, including those by Amazon Basics. Look no further. I'm really impressed with the Bagail packing cubes sets and here's why: Sizes: This set is one of the few you'll find where every included piece is functional, AND there are two of each size. Sets that have 1 of each size don't make much sense to me, because to make best use of space in your luggage it helps to have multiples of the same size. And the piece count here isn't inflated with throwaway items like laundry or toiletry bags. Quality: See photos. The Bagail packing cubes have a nice fine mesh, great zipper pulls, and high quality taping all around. Even the handles are sturdier compared to the Amazon Basics brand. Price: These Bagail packing cube sets are value priced everyday, but they also go on a Lightning Deal or coupon sales somewhat regularly to make the price even lower, so keep an eye out for that. Weight: The medium packing cubes (my favorite size) weighs 100 grams, which isn't a lot and is about the same as the Amazon Basics medium. To be clear, that's 4 times as heavy as the Osprey Ultralight, but the Osprey UL Medium costs more than 4 times as much at $18 for one cube. If you're packing 5+ cubes and shaving a pound off your total luggage weight is worth nearly $100 to you, then get the Osprey. The Bagail zippers aren't a very high gauge, but they do operate very smoothly with no snagging, thanks no doubt to high quality taping and stitching all around the zippers. Drawbacks: I wish the Bagail cubes came in more colors (which can help with organization), and I wish they sold a set that was only a single size instead of an assortment. Amazon Basics has a set of 4 Mediums and I love that, because that's the size I wanted more of, and that's why I bought both brands (but I waited for a clearance sale on the Amazon Basics cubes because they are normally overpriced).

Very useful for all travelers
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I learned about Packing Cubes when I saw my daughter using them. She loves her packing cubes. They appeared to be quite useful to organize clothes in suitcases. Durability: Reviews claimed that they are durable. So far, I have travelled with them 5 times and they have held up. The zippers are smooth and do not snag. Works well: I have been able to organize my clothes and other items using these cubes. I also carry one or two extra cubes to pack my used clothes. Quality: As mentioned above, these are well-made. Washability: Have not washed them yet.

Very convenient makes traveling a lot easier
I really like these travel cubes. I’ve had them for over a year and use them probably half a dozen times to travel out of the country and on weekend trips, but mostly on our my Mexico annual trips they make your luggage mucks more organized and convenient. You pack like all your shirts and one your pants and another your under clothes and another and when you get to wherever you’re going, you don’t have to unpack everything if you don’t want to especially the underwear and everything just leave it in the bags and just put it in the drawer, you can take things out if you want to hang them up so that they wrinkle less but you don’t have to make it much more organized and it’s not compression cubes but I just think it helps you to pack better so I really do like them and they seem to be good quality I really like the colors I’ve got the blue and white and multicolored and they’ve got some mesh on them so you can see what’s in there. I’m very pleased with them I would buy them again no problem .
