The nail polish doesn't go on super even and is opaque in color. That being said, it works PERFECTLY for what it was purchased for. My 1.5 year old loves to paint her nails and unfortunately gets it everywhere. This is easy to wipe off, comes out of clothes, and provides enough color to satisfy her. And it's non-toxic. A win in my book.

I, however, did not want her to have nail polish because of the toxins that are found in traditional nail polishes. We were very excited to find Piggy Paint. My daughter was absolutely ecstatic when I presented her with her long desired nail polish. Purple is her favorite color, and this a very pretty purple. She needed help opening the bottle and went right away to painting her fingers and nails. Because my daughter is 4, she doesn't quite have the fine motor skills to apply a very thin layer of polish. Therefore, it took quite a bit of time for her nails to dry. I tried it on my nails, and a single coat dried fairly quickly. I recommend Piggy Polish and am looking forward to buying their other colors. I am also curious to see if I also use the Piggy Paint Top Coat, if that would allow the paint to last a little longer than a day.

I ordered this for my 2 year old because she is always asking me to do her toes like mommy and I wanted something non toxic for her. This is a great product due to the fact that it’s water based and comes off easily. The color I ordered is cute and sparkly for her. Planning to order more colors.

Love the piggy paint polish! The color is a bit for fluorescent than I was expecting but still very pretty and certainly pink. I purchased this for my daughter as her first polish. I did notice that it did not stay on all that well, but it does apply smoothly and dries very quickly. Overall I was pleased.

This peels off of my daughter’s toes the same day I put it on. Expensive for how little of time it stays on! I do like that it is non toxic though.

I decided to try this brand, Piggy Paint, of non/low odor nail polishes, first, as I read many great reviews of it. First, it is not odorless -- and to be fair -- the bottle does read "low odor" -- which I didn't see this when I initially purchased it on Amazon. I had the impression it was completely odorless (I should have read more closely). The smell is mild and not offensive, but there is a smell -- not like a regular nail polish smell, but almost like a plastic smell. This particular color, I think it is called 'LOL,' is like a super hot pink, which I love the color! However it does go on pretty sheer and it's streaky; I definitely needed three coats to get full coverage. I did use recommended Piggy Paint base coat -- which REALLY smells terribly -- like formaldehyde. After the three coats of color, I then also used the top coat; it has sparkles/glitter in it (couldn't find the plain Piggy Paint top coat), so I am not super wild about it , but I wanted to have as long-lasting application as possible since I spent the time to apply basically five layers of product (base coat, 3 color coats, and top coat) AND I did use the hair dryer technique that was recommended as well in applying. I think I got almost about 24 hours in before the nail polish started to chip and peel. I am not sure if it's worth all of the time it took to apply everything, to be honest. But, if you need a nail polish that doesn't smell like regular nail polish, and if you don't mind the time it takes to apply and follow the directions, and if you don't mind that the polish may start chipping essentially the next day after applying it, maybe this will work for you. I am going to try to look into other low odor/non odor brands to see if anything might be a better solution for me. I do love that it's non-toxic, evidently, and I wish I could give more stars, but for the price and time, I think a different solution might be best for me.
