My 4-year-old daughter is finally into princess things. Before that, it was all Dora. I looked at other vanitys and although the plastic ones are flashy, they are also cheap and breakable. This vanity, however, is very sturdy! The chair supports my weight at 211 lbs. Comes with 2 jewelry boxes, 1 sings, the other is just storage. The mirror is solid, and the design is simple. Assembly took 10 minutes!!! Easy as pie. All you need is a phillips-head for 8 bolts and that's it. The legs for the table and chair simply twist into place, no screwing or bolting required. The chair is beautiful and comfortable. This is good ol' fashion fun here. Nothing flashy and fake. Something a child will appreciate and take care of for years to come, and the wood can be easily customized to fit the desires of the child. A+++++

I purchased this Princess Vanity Table with Chair set AND the Princess Table and Chair set for my two year old grand-daughter. She loved them and was so very excited about them; however, less than two weeks later, all three of the chairs broke. The chairs are for the most part made of wood and are very cute, but the back rests on the chairs are only made of cardboard, so they actually broke in half. We tried to repair them, but once cardboard is torn, that's it. So until they make the chair backs out of wood as they have the other parts of the chairs, I wouldn't purchase any of these sets with chairs. Very sad.

We purchased this rocking chair for our daughter as a first birthday present. I had a wood rocking chair as a child and loved it. I recently found it in my parents attic and rescued it. My daughter (9 months old then) really enjoyed crawling into it and rocking herself or her dolls. When I saw this chair I knew I had to get it. We were not disappointed. It is well crafted, sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. The colors are perfect for a young girl and the detailing is beautiful. A true heirloom. (The 5-star rating didn't apply too well, since no educational value - I entered a 1-star rating in that category.)

We bought this vanity to replace a less durable plastic vanity. The perfect aged girl for this vanity is 3-5 years. Our daughter is 6 and although she is using it (for play and as a table to do her schoolwork) she will probably outgrow it after the summer. Durable construction and nice decorative work. It was easy to put together too. I really like the chair because it is a real chair and not a bench. The built in jewelry boxes which are on the vanity are a great idea because they won't fall off! Overall we are happy with our purchase!

This vanity set is Sooooo much better than the plastic ones available elsewhere!! It was easy to assemble and very well constructed. The pillows for the chair are elegant with gold tassles. This set is over the top! This was a Christmas present. I opened it a little early just to sneak a peek. To my shock, the wrong item had been sent. I had gotten some sort of construction-themed table. I was in a panic, b/c my little princess was going to be pretty disappointed. This was after 9 pm. I sent a email to Amazon's customer service before going to bed. When I checked my email the next morning, they already had a replacement heading my way. Christmas was saved, and my daughter could not be happier! This is a great product, and Amazon's customer service could not have been better!!!!

The back of the chair is wobbly I tried to tighten it but still gets loos with use. Looks great and I think its a great first desk.

I bought this for my daughter in 2011...it is now 2024 and still in amazing condition! This was not cheaply made. I put this together myself, it was not hard at all. She just recently moved out and took this with her for storage. This is a great piece to get your little girl to store toys and other fun things. Definitely recommend.

First, the item a requested a return and replacement on the hole didn’t line up with the head/arm rest and backing. While waiting on the return, the buttons started peeling off and are a choking hazard. Also, the teeny tiny thin nails holding the back on for my one year old to rest failed from her weight and left sharp nails exposed to my toddler’s back. The return item came in with the top piece that opens and closes cracked. I’m calling the company tomorrow.
