All American 1930 - Pressure Regulator Weight - Fits All Our Pressure Cookers/Canners with a Vent Pipe

Bought this as an extra unit just in case. The one I have is identical to this one works flawlessly. Good buy. Only bought it only because the pressure canner I bought didn’t mention they provided one. So I got this one just case. But it works great.

I bought it for a neighbor who couldn’t find the one that came with her pressure bottler. Now I think the missing one will show up.

I'm truly a featherbrain. I'm usually very careful to put all of my canning necessities in the clean canner after the canning season is over each year. My green beans will be ready to pick in a couple of days so I got my canner out, all the jars I'll need, rings, etc. I always boil the gasket for 15 minutes before using each season just to get it ready and to be sure the canner is ready to go. You guessed it.....no regulator weight. I looked high and low, in all the kitchen drawers, but no weight. Luckily Amazon had the correct weight and I knew it would be here within three days. It arrived today and it works beautifully. I'm certain that the old weight will turn up eventually but I just couldn't take the risk with half a garden planted in green beans. The only two veggies my husband will eat are corn and green beans. After over 50 years I've given up trying to sneak in other veggies. Any way, I'm very happy with the weight.

My All American Pressure cooker is fantastic. I bought this for spare parts because I don't live in the states and getting spare parts would almost be impossible...so I bought all the spare parts at the same time I bought the pressure cooker. The pressure cooker is BUILT TOUGH !!! I mean this thing is not exploding in my life time !!! It's rock solid and makes me feel much more safe than other pressure cookers. I do wish the 5/10/15 were painted black or something so you could see it a little better. My eyes are getting old and required glasses to see the numbers :(

I had a tough time finding this gem. I had a terrific heavy aluminum pot for pressure cooking, but I never had this device to control the pressure, so it could never be used for pressure cooking -- now it can!

This is a long unnecessary story but I'm gonna tell it anyway, lol. Someone just gave me an All American canner, and it had the original parts that no longer worked. I updated all 3 components and they work like a charm! My other canners don't have the " jiggler" that goes off once every 15 seconds or so, and I'm getting used to that. But the customer service was absolutely wonderful! They understand canning season, and we need the things we purchase ASAP, and they delivered. Thank you again

I personally think this item is over priced. Being I had to purchase the steam pressure piece that this item sits on top of. This item is the recommended replacement for the old steam pressure relief valve. It is for my All American No.7 pressure cooker/canner. This item works excellent and I am 100% satisfied

I paid extra to get a All American brand piece but it arrived with corrosion even though it's stainless steel. This means it wasn't dried properly before packaging. It cleaned up mostly fairly okay but still looks like it's been used at least a few times. It would be a five star rating if it looked brand new like I paid extra $ for and expected to recieve.
