These six paints are very metallic and shinny. They go on smoothly with water pen or brush. They come in a nice and cute tin container. I have lots of watercolors, but these colors are unique. I’ve have not seen these shades before. They are called: Chocolate Green which looks like an intriguing brown/green, Golden Copper, Inca Gold, Red Brown (very interesting color) Gold Pearl, and Silver which shows up very well on Black paper. These colors don’t disappoint. It was a nice unusual purchase. .

Love the colors! The crystal silver needs a lot to show up on its own, but makes a great highlight! Don’t let the small size fool you, the quality is great, and a little goes a long way. It brings a whole new look to my watercolor designs and the coloring doesn’t discolor my brushes. Cleaning the pigment out is a breeze!

The way they are handled is a bit different. I don't know if I chose the right colors BUT they work well. I did lines to see how they would show or evenly stay after dry time. I think its doing well! I'm also not using top tier student grade paper. So I'm impressed by the quality. Colors are vibrant and the shimer is nice. The size is decent. Ease of use is good. They dont quite dilute well so transparency with these is not a favorite so I may need to create a color similar to the base to ombre the glitter. Build up takes work if youre covering an area for red brown and chocolate green. Its worthwhile though. I did wipe my ginger over the water colors and 99% stayed on paper. Idk if with time it will change.

This mini tin is so nice. The packaging is beautiful and solid, well made. The pans came individually wrapped and fit nicely in the tin. I wish the green was more green but you see the brown/copper color mostly, with the green as a highlight in the color as you angle the paper. Either way the colors are beautiful and I love the metallic finishes. The pans take a bit of time to reactivate with water but they work well afterwards and look beautiful on the paper.

This was packaged so well. It was in a very nice, sturdy cardboard box, and then in a little sturdy tin. I tried one of the metallics, and it is very nice. You will want to add this to your art collection. If not to use, to show off.

Beautiful, colorful, rich in depth. Bought for a friend since I liked the one I got so much.

I am tough on reviews; however, I love this little tin. If you sell artwork online, you won’t be able to see it in the photo. I person, I get a lot of great responses as the cards are tilted toward the light. The gold is bold and shows up then glints when tilted. The pearl and chocolate aren’t as brilliant but useful. If you are purchasing for the pearl, I would probably buy a different brand. In all, the tin would warrant the 5 star review. I taped the cover in the top of the tin to help me remember the colors. The folds are all similar but yield different results on paper.

I am in love with these metallic paints! The price is incredible and the paints themselves are very pigmented and full of sparkle. I’ve bought a few metallic watercolors including Arteza and some others that came in a small black tin, but these are my absolute favorites! With the CSY brand you get at least twice as much paint for about the same price as the other small black tins. And these are easier to activate and very creamy. You won’t be disappointed! Oh! I forgot to add that they included a magnetic strip with a sticky side to attach to the bottom of the pans. This makes it so they don’t slide around inside the tin. I really appreciate that.

This is an amazing metallic set of watercolour. I love how richly pigmented they are. They came packaged super well and cute. It was an experience to open, swatch and work with.
