Q: Is it stiffer than most Pilates circles?

the Pro model is stiffer/more stable than the Lite model. the Pro model appears to be designed to last longer. Until the Pro model was redesigned, it was not functional to use it around the ankles, for instance to resist abduction as the ring had no padding and had an exposed screw head that could scratch your skin.

Q: How much does it weigh?

It´s very light, I would say it weights about half a kilogram

Q: How does this compare to the one made by BitterFit?

I evaluated ONLY the STOTT PILATES model. I know nothing about BetterFit.

Q: Would owning both the 12" and the 14" models add more versatility to the circle's use? Is one better for certain exercises than the other?

IMHO the 12 inch model is for those of a more genteel physique while the 14 inch is more appropriate for a more physical workout.
