Sawyer Products Mini Water Filtration System

These are a must for my rucksack for hiking and camping. I also keep one in my vehicle and or my motorcycle while traveling. It's never a bad thing to have access to tools that produce clean and safe to drink water. Simple to use and gives you piece of mind while crossing paths with questionable water.

Great price and comparable to lifestraw

I bought one of these long ago and put it in my go bag for when I need it in an emergency situation. I found myself needing water for a procedure and the water needed to be clean so I thought about using my mini filter. I got it out, took it out of its original packaging and filled the bag with tap water, screwed on the filter and gave it a squeeze. Not a drop of water would go through. I squeezed hard, very hard, and barely a drip of water came out. I used the syringe to back flush and forward flush the filter several times with tap water and it started allowing water to flow through.So, warning, open your filter and try it out to make sure it works before you need to rely on it. If I didn't have any clean tap water to flush it I would have been in a bad situation trying to filter water with a defective brand new filter

Can't go wrong with a Sawyer filter. Cheaper to buy this pack of 4 than each individually. Seems to filter the creek water well and now I have extra in case I need them.

Perfect size, lightweight, and work well

These are great and compact! I love the multicolored pack so I can keep them organized and give each family member their own if I want to. The only thing about these is the cleaning syringe; it doesn't seal against the nozzle of the filter super well. It works, but you will be spilling water all over the place. The syringe itself has threading on the end, like it was designed for a needle or something to be attached. But the filters don't thread on; you just hold them firmly against the syringe and try to keep it as sealed as you can.Overall, these are great! If you have multiple bags, or friends and family, go for the multipack! They come packaged together, but they are individually packaged in the box. This is great if you are wanting to get them as gifts for people, because each one will be in its own package.

Sawyer products build quality products for water filtration. They don’t leak, functionality they are easy to use.

I think everyone should carry one of these in their car, in case they get strandedsome place for a long time and need to get water from a source they are not sureis really clean, even some old park water fountions are suspect.. These are light weightand have a good reputation.
