I WASN'T AT ALL SURE WHAT CAMS TO BUY FOR MY UPGRADE OD 16 CH. DVR. NOT KNOWING WHAT TYPE OF TRANSMISSION SIGNAL OR MP RATING, AND ALL OF THAT. BEING THAT I COULD USE 1080 ALL THE WAY TO 5MP. I THOUGHT THATS BOGUS. BUT TURNED OUT TRUE. MY DVR IS NICKNAMED 4 IN 1. THATS THE TRANSMISION TYPE SIGNAL THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. 4 DIFFERENT BUT SPECIFIC TYPES, EACH HAVING AN ALPHABETIZED " NAME ". OK, SO I BOUGHT ANNKE 5MP TRUE NIGHT COLOR. AND FOR LESS IMPORTANT SHOTS SOME 1080 W/ TRUE NIGHT COLOR. . WELL, MY DVR IS ALLREADY " AUTO DETECT " SO CONFIGURATION WAS TOTALLY AUTOMATIC. JUST PLUG AND PLAY. I DECIDED TO DITCH THE CHEAPER, SMALLER CAMS AND GO W/ ANNKE 5MP TRUE NIGHT COLOR. YEH, A LITTLE SPENDY, BUT WELL WORTH IT. I'M ADDING ON 2 CAMS A WEEK NOW AND AM VERY EXICITED TO SEE EACH RESULT. THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK, IM VERY HAPPY, STEVE.

Night lite is great

These are nice cameras. Easy to install and plenty of options for positioning. They work great for inside my house. I had no issues setting them up with my DVR. Also the light on the front is set to come on at night automatically but can be set to off within the Annke options with the DVR connected to your TV. My only issue is that they have no night vision. My other ones are a bit less quality but have great night vision. These only have night vision if you leave the LED set to on. Which is fine for outside but it's like a flood light that just stays on, not triggered by motion. Otherwise their quality is very nice. I love Annke products. They work well and I hardly ever have issues. They also have a decent app for remote viewing. Almost no bugs. Zosi and all the others have terrible apps.

Excellent camera! Im very happy with this little camera. I think is ones of better camera’s for the money. Very easy installation, come with a paper mold to mark the drill target 🎯. And the camera is simply plug and play. Come with a great light enough for lighting the indoor stairways building and view the video clearly.

I bought 2 of these back in 2022 and they were really nice. I was especially happy with the night vision. But I purchased 2 more in 2024 and the color is very washed out and also the nightvision is way worse. It's washed out, grainy with noise even with all the noise reductions maxed out and also any bright lights like street lamps or car lights blind the camera and white out a large portion of the screen. Even car brake lights turn a huge area bright red and you cannot see anything. The model numbers are similar but not the same. I wish I could get the older version again. Pretty disappointed. I even bought some of these for my neighbor after bragging how great these are and now I look stupid.

These cameras of which I now have eight are outstanding picture quality the night vision is unbelievable but be aware there is a small white light that shines from the camera. The quality of the color night vision is unbelievable and the picture sharpness and ease of installation make these an outstanding value.

Replaced an broken Night Owl camera and this picture is awesome. Very clear and color night vision is unbelievable. Would replace my other cameras if the price were cheaper.
