I'm experimenting with some new flavours for my shortbread. I've tried Butterscotch, which didn't work, and Coconut, which did. I wanted to add a Salted Caramel version to the range, but Salt Caramel Essence just tasted too "chemically" for my tasters. I thought that these Sprinkles might just work, so I baked a batch yesterday, and added an arbitrary amount of the sprinkles to the dough, plus a small amount of the essence,just to spread the flavour a bit. This turned out to be a bigger success than the Coconut ones, which a lot of people love. As the photo shows, the grain of the sprinkles is clearly visible, which adds to the aesthetics of the biscuits. It also gives the biscuits a little bit more "crunch" than normal, which is perfectly acceptable, as I always add another ingredient to my other shortbreads to achieve this parameter. Now, I simply reduce the amount of the other ingredient to balance it out. The pack is only 100g, but it's good value. I can get two batches from one pack, and, judging by the success of them, i had better order a lot more!!

Thank you they are lovely, I make my own ice cream and added them to a vanilla base and guess what there’s none left !

A little too large and crunchy, causing a broken tooth!

Probably my fault but not what I wanted or expecting! I thought this product would be more like sugar but instead it was hard peace’s of caramel. Tasted nice but not suitable for what I had in mind.

Ideal for presentation.

These are yummy I didn’t realise they will be bigger I thought they were sprinkle but I read wrong

This wasn’t the nicest salted caramel i have bought. Its not crunchy nor does it taste salty.
