Pico Orange Ballpoint Pen Limited Edition

I first bought one of these Lamy pens at an office supply shop in downtown San Francisco. I'd never seen one like it and I quickly fell in love with it. I like having a pen as part of my everyday carry, and this one was compact and looked cool. When expanded, it fits the hand well (I'm a tall man with rather large hands, and I still find the feel in the hand to be comfortable). Writing action is smooth and crisp. And the "click" for expansion and retraction feels confident. I like having a pen I enjoy using--just one of those small bits of joy during the day. I misplaced the original I'd bought at the shop in San Fran, so I bought two more of the exact same pen here--I want to make sure I've always got it around even if I misplace one.

Along with a small 1x2 notebook, I carry this pen in my front pocket everyday. Since it fully retracts, I don't worry about ink leakage. It fits my hand comfortably and writes with no issues. Excellent quality. Expensive but totally worth it!

I love this pen! I am picking with pens but it’s great to put inside the pocket of my jeans and always have a pen on me. Writes smooth. Love the color. A little pricey but I love it so to me it was worth it.

Bought this as part of a Father's Day gift for the husband. He really likes it. The only reason for 4 stars is that it's too bad the pen is not full size.

This is my 4th or 5th Pico Pen. They are extremely handy to keep in your pocket and they write nicely. Because they are so small when retracted, they seem to slip out of my pocket when seated (hence the multiple purchases). To help this, I purchased the orange one this time for more visibility and I also added a "rubber sleeve" on the barrel to make it not so slippery in my pocket. This rubber sleeve I just remove from an inexpensive "give-away pen" from the bank or other places. This helps it stay in my pocket a little more.

I love this pen - color, style, etc. That being said, this is not meant for those who need a constant daily pen. It's great when I need it a couple times a day, but I'm not writing the next great American novel with this thing. The replacement ink cylinders are also a tad expensive (not universal), but these are not the reasons you purchase this pen. You buy it because it's cool. Very cool. Cool pen. Cool.

The pen will likely to stand out in most situation in view of its colour. It’s light and handy to carry around as EDC.
