Puppy loves it!
After many hours scouring the internet for a puppy food that is grain inclusive, made with quality ingredients, minimally processed, lightly baked, appropriate for large breed puppies, and not one of the giant pet food brands— I decided to try honest kitchen! My 3 month old golden LOVES it! And honestly it really isn’t expensive when compared to foods similar in quality. I see a lot of people say that the only thing they don’t like is the powdered pieces, but I add bone broth (make sure it has no seasonings) to my pup’s bowl and he licks it clean. If the powder is an issue for your dog- don’t waste it, add a liquid to the bowl. Or even bake the powder into homemade dog treats! The powder is because of the nature of the food- it’s not baked at extreme temperatures with all kinds of fillers to solidify it. So far, we are loving this food!

Pups love it and tolerate well
Our puppy loves this kibble. Our dog loves the Turkey variety for adult dogs too. There are other reviews on amount of crumbled powder. You will get some, but from a 20lb bag it’s really no more than a cup. We’ll mix with water to rehydrate and add as a topper or just a little “treat” and they go crazy for it. Only food they haven’t eventually turned their noses up to eating.

Dogs do it. You have to wet the food.
My dog really likes it, but the kibble gets really gummy. If you don't add enough water. And if you add enough water, it's swells. And sticky.

Love these Whole Food clusters
I use these clusters for a small treat to give my puppy. I think that they are probably much healthier than your average dog treat and they are a perfect size for a treat. I feed her the dehydrated Honest Kitchen at her mealtime. I have been feeding the dehydrated Honest Kitchen for many years to my older dog and I do think it is a much healthier alternative than feeding kibble. My dogs do not smell like your average dog and I attribute this feature to what I feed them. Their coats are shiny and they do not have dander.

Great Quality
Great quality food and I loved feeding my puppy this. The problem is the pieces end up turning into powder. Last bag I had I ended up with almost a full cup of powder. Not very cost effective unfortunately.

Very inconsistent
This product is very inconsistent. Half of the clusters are burned. Otherwise, would be a really good food for my picky Chihuahua. I’m not buying it anymore.

Unfortunate
My dogs won't touch this food. Glad I only purchased a small bag to try first.
