We have a one piece Toto toilet. The Amazon description has this fitting a two piece. Has anyone used this part in a one piece?

In the specifications for this valve, it is stated that the valve replaces s TSU18A Toto fill valve. A TSU18A is designed for a TOTO one piece toilet, either a GMAX or a Power Gravity. I used this valve for a 743S Toto toilet without a problem and it was an one piece toilet.

This looks like a repackaged Korky 528T or 528MP. Any reason to spend $15 more for this one instead of the Korky? Just askin.

I think the Korky PRO version (528PRO) beats them both. It seems to be better built than the 528MP or the original equipment Toto branded version made by Korky. Plus, it includes a gauge and chart for setting the water level in the bowl; which are not included with the 528MP. The PRO costs more than the MP, but less than the Korky T or GT models, and much less than the Toto branded model.

is this the same as the THU9021?

No. THU9021 is a junction valve. This is a fill valve (universal) for inside of the tank. The TSU99A.X was a perfect replacement for the OEM TSU18A fill valve that started leaking after 26 months.
