In the country there are lots of watering holes and using these has eliminated mosquitoes. They say they are non toxic and I use them my big copper bowl pond in my garden and they worked great. They have a slight smell but not noticable and they are easy to use. The speed is always important and they get right to work. I use them in lots of places and they don't seem to leave a residue so my pot is easy to clean. Use them any place there is standing water. I have had these for a few years and the tablets have stayed usable since I bought the big pack. I was surprised how long they lasted in the water keeping mosquitoes away which I guess makes them durable. I like that the ingredients are more natural and safe for the critters and creatures I love.

I've had these before, and they work very well if you have a water feature, or are likely to have standing water in your yard. You're not supposed to handle them very much, and since the packaging on this is extremely secure, it makes it very difficult. The cardboard backing is securely glued to every inch of the plastic topping the dunks. You have to peel if off, small piece by small piece. It's a real pain, and not quick or handy at all. The ones I've had before had the cardboard backing slotted into folded edges of the plastic, and you could just slide it down, and 'dump' out a dunk with no need to touch or handle them extensively. So much nicer! These are a good price, but I would pay more for better packaging.

You really need this if you have water around your house anywhere . I have a small pond and I put these in it to keep the mosquitoes away . And they do work. So you should really make sure you have them. Even if you have a bucket of water sitting around, you should put one of these in it.

I will be buying these again every season. They're a good price when I got them - the cheapest I found, for so many! I love that they're natural and only target the mosquitos (larvae, to be exact). I just moved and there was water pooled at the new house for who knows how long, but long enough for the mosquitos to eat us alive while out there for 2 minutes. I've never experienced such bad mosquitos. We put a dunk in one of the pooled water sections and the very next day, we maybe noticed 2 mosquitos (instead of 50 on each of us the previous night). I was amazed at how quickly it worked! The best part, it's safe for fish, frogs, birds, pets, everyone!! Except not for the mosquito larvae. We have a farm and I can put it in our animal's water with no worries! There's no smell and they say when the dunk sinks, replace it (about every 30 or so days). Absolutely love these! If they stay so affordable here, I'll be buying them from this company every time!
