Awesome!
Simple to put together and very sturdy. We were able to fit (4) large luggage bags and (2) kids luggage bags as well. We did purchase the net as an extra precaution but the rack itself was easy to put together and install on our tow hitch. It has definitely come in handy for road trips and camping trips.

Very reliable!!! Never knew it was there.
Traveled over 1,000 miles and never even knew this thing was attached. I did add a stabilizer kit for 15$. Was easy to take off once we reached our destination and then put back on to head home. Love it. Held 5 large suitcases easily along with a few other bags and a tool kit. We laid a black tarp down inside first and then put in all of our luggage, folded the tarp over and tucked in the sides and covered with a small cargo net (got on amazon, stretch distance between ropes was 3inches) that we hooked to the it with carabiner hooks. I mean- we had no trouble what so ever. It was an awesome trip, with lots of comfort and leg room for everyone. My vehicle is a 2016 GMC Yukon. Once installed you cannot open the entire back door, but can open the window for access easily. I LOVE this thing. We incurred rain during our drive and still no problems. I am not seeing rust as some other reviews read. Thinking that may be because of where or how they have stored it, but just guessing. I currently have it in an outside storage room and it still looks great. Although my son did most of the work, I could easily install this myself. It is a little heavy, but once you pick it up and insert it in the hitch, the hard work is done. I also bought a locking pin, instead of a regular one, there is NO pin included and I added some reflectors, although you don't necessarily need them. Overall this thing is Totally worth every dollar paid. These are the items that I added - all bought on Amazon. Good for what I paid for
Giving it 5 stars for now. Considering what I paid for it, it was what I expected. Took about 10 minutes to put it together. What you need to keep in mind with this is depending on your vehicle your exhaust might be blowing back on this, so you will need to deal with that by either fabricating a heat shield, or getting a hitch riser. I actually went to home depot and purchased 2 pieces of sheet metal and then said to hell with it and took them back and got the riser. It was cheaper and fixed the other thing that was bothering me, distance to the ground. I didn't want to worry about pulling out of a parking lot and having this drag/potentially break if the angle was too much. So will give an update after my trip on how it faired. Also if you purchase this, make sure you get a hitch stabilizer/tightener. Depending on your car any minor clink is going to travel up your frame and sound like bad stuff is happening back there. Plus the stabilizer will extend the life of everything. Things banging around never lead to something positive in life. Build quality on this is about what I expected, it is light weight, if it fairs well I will update the paint job to ensure I get more life out of it. Update: I have used this 2 times for trips to Florida and it has performed great. I keep it in the garage when not in use and still looks brand new.

A good carrier.
So my initial review was incorrect. We have successfully put this thing together and it works well. The center of the long sides of the basket when closed separate and are loose when in the closed position. A couple of zip ties will fix this. It seems sturdy enough, and on our Honda pilot the license plate clears the top of the basket, just barely. Very easy to put together. I recommend 2 people if possible because it is a little cumbersome and awkward due to the size. It folds down to be more compact for storage. It is a little heavy for me to handle by myself and is much easier to install on the hitch with 2 people. It does not come with a hitch pin. I bought a locking one. There is some wiggle from side to side when empty. I'll have to see when loaded if it still wiggles in the hitch.

Huge!!
Used it to carry 10 bags of soil. Could Easily carried at least 16 more with out going over the top of the sides. Very heavy(relative term) Locking screws so no rattle very solid. Great basket so my wife's suv doesn't get dirty. Easy to access items instead of bed of suv. Next time will carry firewood.

This is a great item
Was a little difficult to put together but a little trial and error and it was together. It works great and as expected. Holds a lot of weight. Great item and the high sides are a huge plus.

Great with the right vehicle
Loved the extra cargo and very sturdy. Only downfall, it is not meant for vehicles with exaust straight out the back. I have a 2016 Ram 1500 and after an 8hr drive, the tarp protecting all my luggage was melted right behind the exaust tips. And I had installed metal sheets on the carrier itself hoping it would help with the heat, but it did not. It also had so much heat that it melted an LED light on my rear bumper.

Loved this.
Really sturdy and like the fence surrounding it. The only things I didn’t care for was the following. The pins holding the fence together needs improvement. That keeper gets lost to easy. The wobble in the hitch is pretty bad. It’s like a seesaw. Other than that it was a very heavy duty carrier.
