A Fantastic Co-Op Game for the Family
We wanted to find a family co-op game to work on teamwork and have quality family time together with our 5 and 7 year old. It had to be challenging and easy to understand. We did a few test play throughs with the instructions to get used to the game (I'd advise parents having a go first and get a great understanding of the rules as it can be boring for the kids while you're reading through as you go along...we made this mistake). Once everyone knows the rules it's easy to play and we found everyone soon had their allocated role for each game. It does have additional challenges to mix it up as well. I can see how if played a lot it could lose it's fun a bit, but I would recommend mixing it up again each time with different people doing different roles and challenges. Our average game took between 25-45 minutes. It takes about 5 minutes to set up. I do think this is one of our favourite games and my 5 year old picked it up easily once we explained it a few times. As it's a co-op we do help and guide each other. Some of this is down to skill but there's also a lot down to luck as well. The art work is appealing and overall it's a great game to play over and over.

Havent stopped playing it
After a lot of research into different fantasy-style games to introduce kids into. It came down to two of which this was one of them. Andor is a great game, my son is only 6 and with a little help at the start now understands the game's dynamics and the team play it encourages. he enjoys being able to play different characters but generally is the warrior :) We loved it so much that we bought the expansion pack. My only negative would be there aren't any more expansion packs after the one we got. However, it opens up a lot more different gameplay and every adventure provides different challenges. I 100% recommend this for families interested in the tabletop game style of play.

Introducing to rpg
Brilliant game. Very well done and with many different quests from very easy to little more complicated. I'm playing with my almost 5yo no problem. He love to walk around the kingdom following the tasks and fighting with monsters. And obviously he has to dice for dragon. I really recommend this game for every family looking for some more sophisticated board game experience.

Great for kids
Nice and simple co operative adventure game that offers varying stories to play through. Bought this to play with an 8 year old, while he probably couldn't manage by himself with someone older to help run the enemy phase it is great. The game offers alot of variability in terms of mixing up the missions you need to complete. The basic set up works great for younger players to learn the game and get used to it and the added options will allow the game to grow with the younger players as they get better at it.

Fun game to play not just for kids
This is one of our family's favorite games. Our 5-year-old likes to participate in solving quests. Even though the game is meant for juniors, it is a great game for grownups. What I like is that setting the game up is pretty fast, which means that during party time with friends, it doesn't take much effort to start playing. Also, gameplay takes up to one hour, which is perfect for friends; they don't get tired and are having fun.

Perfect intro to tabletop rpgs for children
Grandparent bough this for our 7 year old. He absolutely loved it. Very easy to set up and start playing. Added bonus you can have several playthroughs with different missions/quests.

Really good cooperative play
I feel there should be a larger number of cooperative games like this. Within a family I think most parents are wanting to promote teamwork and keep the peace!! This really helps with getting kids to work together and create some good quality family time.

Good game - Low repeat value
We play a lot of cooperative family boardgames. Andor is initially good to play but we find the repeat value poor - despite the different missions on offer. Nice board and pieces though, it would probably lend itself well to creating your own scenarios.

Our family’s first fantasy board game. Easy enough for my 6 year old but challenging enough for hubby and me. It’s good quality. The cardboard pieces are pretty solid. Seems durable. I also really really love that every class (magician, warrior, archer, dwarf) comes in two genders. You can be a female dwarf or a male magician. Great for gender equality. It was a bit pricier than other children’s board games but overall I’m happy with this purchase.

Excellent game to introduce the little ones to adventure board games. My 6 year old picked up the rules very easily. You play through the game once and you’ll have it down. Great quality piece and art also. Highly recommend this game. A lot of replay ability as there are 10 different quests that can be completed and you can later use your imagination and make up quests, remove 1 attack dice, etc to make the game more challenging if it becomes too easy.
